Vision Nova Tanks Help

I bought a couple of these from madvapes and think I am going to need assistance. Dealing with wicks and coils and stuff is new to me, the only tanks I have ever used are those standard smoktech ones with the prepunched lr cartos in them. I think I may have gotten in over my head here.

I have been browsing videos but I wonder if anyone has come across one that says in real simple terms how best to use these and SIMPLE newbie like modifications you may want to make? If someone has a good video to share, please post.

I am also wondering how the trimmed wicks will affect my vape. I noticed someone else said they were trimmed wicks and that's why they didn't get them from madvapes. I had already ordered mine and had no idea if that really makes a difference or not? They are trimmed pretty short and on other sites they seem nice and long. Why are they trimmed?

I am just really wondering if I am over my head here on these and if I should even try them lol

You should try them. I don't have any of the new ones in my hands yet but the mod to fix the original for me was to remove one of the wicks and trim the rest pretty short. It's now the best thing for flavour and vapour that I've tried. Before "fixing" it, I got tons of vapour and almost no flavour. My understanding is that the extra wick no longer exists and the trimming has been done on the new version. I expect that it will be near perfect out of the box with a very short break in period. Just remember to tilt often so that the wicks stay wet. It really doesn't take long to get used to that. My polyfilled carto days are over thanks to this tank.

I got mine today and it's vaping wonderfully I find myself weaning off the cartos with the filler towards these clearomizers more and more because of these. I loved the ego clearomizers (stardust or whatever you wanna call them) and this vivi nova is right there with them. Definately 'go-to' items for me. I have found I prefer the longer wick ones tho over the short wicks. But that's just my personal opinion They seem to last a long time too.
