I've purchased 3 of the Vision Spinner 2s (1600 mAH) from Ebay. It took me a while to figure out what was going on but there are a lot of people selling Spinner 2 clones and they don't mention that they're clones in their auctions. They look just like the authentic ones. The first one that I bought about a month ago was the real deal with the scratch off code and its working great. The next two that I recently bought didn't have the scratch off security code and I'm having trouble with both of them. On one of them you have to press the button very firmly or it cuts out and the other one takes forever to charge but it dies very quickly. I'm getting a refund on the one with the charging issues but the other one didn't act up for a couple of weeks and it only had a two week warranty, so it was a total loss. These clones, fakes, knock offs or whatever you want to call them are junk! On the other hand, the authentic ones are very good batteries in my opinion. To me, they're pretty darn close to my Vamo and Lavatube. If you are thinking about buying one of these do yourself a favor and make sure that they have the scratch off security code before you buy them.

I started off my vaping "career" with a genuine Vision Spinner so I'll have to give you my nod in agreement, at least as an introductory battery to establish whether one wishes to continue on vaping or not.

The Spinner 2 batteries are a big improvement over the Spinner 1300 batteries in my opinion. Like I said, I think these new Spinner batteries are very close to a lot of the mods that are out there, at least if you're not vaping at real high watts or volts which I don't. I've been vaping just shy of a year and like most I started out with the cigalikes, moved on to the Spinner batteries, dove into dripping for a while and then went the RBA route but now I'm finding myself going back to the good ol trusty Spinner batteries and using my mods a lot less. (Well, trusty as long as they're not one of the junk clones anyway.) For cost, and convenience I think they're hard to beat regardless if you're a beginner or veteran but everyone has their own preferences.

The largest was only 1300 mAh when I started and the next thing I bought was a ProVari because I liked paying only $8 for new batteries....lol

I couldn't get past the throwing the whole thing away when it dies thing and as an inexperienced vaper at the time, I was mismanaging my equipment something fierce while learning as I suspect most n00bs do.

The ProVaris were much more forgiving than the eGo batteries, oddly enough, but I wouldn't recommend spending that much to someone who isn't sure they're going to continue vaping or not.

I can see where someone would prefer the slimness of the Spinner, though.

As someone who started their vaping career with genuine Joyetech eGo batteries purchased from an authorized Joyetech reseller I get your point. Those batteries were in constant use for my first nine months of vaping and three years later they still hold a good charge. I paid more at the time than people chasing the "where can I get the cheapest price on a..." bandwagon, but I never had to replace them three times over either.

I've been fighting the Provari urge since I started vaping and I'm still fighting it,lol. Its on my bucket list! I'll break down and buy one, one of these days to keep around the house. The Spinner batteries are just easier for me to tote around at work and the new 1600 mAH seem to give me that little bit of extra punch that the 1300 mAH didn't, although the 1300's are still good little batteries.

Good luck fighting the urge.

I had the bad luck of coming into a little money within a couple of months of beginning vaping and now I own 6 ProVaris, along with other things I don't use. I only use the ProVaris.

Now I need to offload a couple of THOSE...lol

There's a 10% off coupon right now for them. Just sayin'...:)
