Vision Spinner 2 or Kanger EVOD VV? What would you get?

I am going to get a backup battery for my EMOW set up... trying to decide between the Kanger EVOD VV 1300mah and the Vision Spinner 2 1600mah.

On one hand, the Vision is a few extra mah. On the other hand, the Kanger seems to have a better reputation. Price seems to be about the same.

What would you get?

I Use a Spinner 2 for my vaping when I am out and about. I like the extra battery Capacity. prices Vary a lot from Vender to Vender, but Holiday Discount Codes I think you should be able to get a good price on either one.

I bought a spinner early on and quickly replaced it with a interchangeable battery mod. the spinner (don't remember the mah) gave me no warning before it died that was the main reason I switched to something else just from the fear of never knowing when my bat would die. Now I carry at least 4 batts at all times in a small carrying kit with extra juices and supplies it sometimes sucks lugging it all around but I worry to much so it's worth the peace of mind I could last a week without visiting my "home" gear.

but the spinner got the job done for sure.

I would get the istick, much better battery life, all round more bang for your buck.

Istick is on my list too, but I have 3 Vision Spinner 2's and love them. I love the button on them and how you always know how much power you have left. I don't like the button on my Evod-jams too easy and it's flush against the pv. Only downside about the spinner as it's harder just to stuff in your pocket and go

I've got two Vision Spinner II's and they're real nice batteries. Solid construction and reliable.

Some of the Spinner 2's particularly the vendor branded MFS version, have charging problems. I wasn't getting the life I expected out of a 1600, having owned two of the original 1300 Spinners, and I found out that they often don't charge all the way on a full cycle. I kept replacing chargers - the light will go green, but if you unscrew and screw it back on the light on the Spinner 2 goes to amber which means it didn't charge all the way. It will do it again, and then repeat to get it charged fully. A real pain in the .... I got another one from Fast Tech and it doesn't behave that way. Love everything else about the Spinner two, particularly the notches at certain voltage settings.

I just sold my Spinner II because I only use RBAs now, but it worked perfectly and I never had any problems. And I really appreciated the long battery life. I recommend it. The MOW fits perfectly on it for a nice, flush look.

The spinner and a kanger Aerotank mega, or emow tank will give you zero problems as a back up. Just make sure you bring extra juice with you on your endeavours.

Have you considered the 1600mah Kanger Evod VV? It's a lot shorter than the Spinner 1600mah, so it's more pocket friendly. The button on the Kanger is a bit harder to find when you first get it, but you get used to it pretty quick. From memory the Kanger VV is a bit cheaper than the vision spinner too, and it has a spring loaded 510.

As my spinners wear out they will be replaced with isticks. Kinda wondering if my spinners are going to wear out though. My original 2 1300 mah Vision spinners are 2 years old. My other 2 are about 9 months old. All 4 are still going strong. I don't think you can go wrong if you chose to get one for your backup.

The evod 1600 works great for me, as well as the 1600 ipow and it vv / vw. Just my opinion

I'll put a spare if we're going somewhere (in addition to my pocket iStick) and I've got a Vision 1600mah, and an Innokin vv , Ed'll carry his Aspire CF one..and of those three, the Aspire's the best hitting longest lasting, next while it doesn't last as long the Innokin vv, then the Vision 1600 mah.

iStick best bang for the buck and fits in my pocket better than those long eGo types.

Yeah, I bought a IPOW 1300 originally, because it was advertised as 16.5mm, and the one I got was awesome, really solid nice product, but much larger diameter, 18.5mm. I sent it back, because I really just want to match my EMOW stuff right now. Down the line maybe... so if I stay with Kanger I can get the EVOD VV 1300, that is 16.5mm... but is the spring loaded center pin a better trade off than an extra 200mah? The spinner is 1600mah at the same size.

Yeah, I'd like an iStick down the road, but want to stick with something round and 16.5mm right now to match my EMOW tanks. Then I think I'll get an egrip, and then maybe an iStick or some other VW box once I start really wanting to build a coil. But I haven't gotten to that point yet.

I haven't been able to find Spinner 3's anywhere but ebay, which makes them seem like fakes. Are they all with that cheesy gold and black color?


Thanks for all the advice so far. It sounds like the Spinner 2 is getting the most votes so far. It's surprising considering how much I had read about the charging problems.
