Vision Spinner II Max Wattage Output

This is probably a dumb question but ill just go ahead and ask it anyway. Does anyone know what is the maximum watts a Vision Spinner II 1600mah will put out? I know it varies a lot depending on the build of the coil, but it "seems" like anything above 4 volts doesnt really change much. Im asking this question because i am seriously considering getting an eleaf istick for myself and my wife, but i need to know it will have a LOT more power than our current Vision Spinner II's, which just dont seem to cut it anymore. We both agree we want more power for our kayfun's, without getting ridiculous.

It has to do with the amp limit on those (I think it's 2.5 amp). There's an equation that uses your coil resistance and the voltage setting of your battery to determine amps, but I don't remember how it goes. With my Spinner (version 1) and 1.7 coils I think it's about the same as what you're getting - past 4v nothing changes.

So the thing to check is the amp limit on the Eleaf.

I have been following the 2 threads here on the iStick and i watched Candi's review on Youtube and she was able to hit 20 watts using a 1.4 ohm coil, so i know the iStick will do 20 watts. 20 watts on my Kayfun will probably be too much i am thinking. (Although i really dont know if its too much until i try, LoL) I have searched the internet and these forums, but i still have no idea what the Vision Spinner or Spinner 2 is capable of as far as maximum USEABLE power output. Just because the math says it should be doing almost 18 watts with a 1.3 ohm coil at 4.8 volts, doesnt mean its ACTUALLY outputting that much, right?

The iStick will seem like an absolute powerhouse by comparison.

Heaven forbid you get into dripping, then the istick will probably seem anemic

It probably is not due to having a low amp limit

Can't say for sure about the amp limit on the istick but it is copied from the DNA20, which Iirc has an amp limit around 6a

I went ahead and ordered 2 iSticks. They can't get here soon enough. I've had it with shoddy ego batteries.

VISION SPINNER II = TOTAL JUNK! Vision Spinner II is total trash! Shorts out, fails to charge properly, holds a charge for a max of only 3 hours. Another example of a Chinese company that starts out producing a stellar product and then updates it with a defective product.

I have owned a set of original Vision Spinners (version 1) which have worked beautifully for over two years, and then updated with the version II simply because the newer versions looked cool. BIG MISTAKE!

DO a Google search and you will see loads of posts about the charging problems. What amazes me is that instead of just fixing the issue and coming out with a Version III, the manufacturer refuses to fix the problem and instead has a silly post on their website about how they "are working on it" and then offers a convoluted "reset" procedure (that doesn't fix the problem).

What's worse, if you complain to the dealer or manufacturer, they will claim you must have bought a clone or fake, and then ask you to document the problem with a video LOL!

BOTTOM LINE: Get an original Spinner if you can find one, but DO NOT BUY A VISION SPINNER II

I guess I got lucky with the Vision Spinner2's that I bought earlier in the year. I have not used them for awhile though but my wife still does sometimes.

Since moving on to the iStick, mine and my wife's Spinner batteries have been collecting dust. We are done with ego batteries. Thanks for the replies everyone.
