Vision Spinner Problem

I'm having trouble with my vision spinner. I was using a 2.2 ohm evod clearo last night at about 4.3 volts. The light started flashing 5 times everytime I tried to draw. I figured it was the battery, so i just switched to my G6. Threw it on the charger. Worked fine this morning. Threw it back on the charger to charge it up the rest of the way. Just took it outside and got the flashing lights again. 5 flashes, no draw. Threw it on the charger, 19 flashes and the same problem when I took it off and tried the clearo again. Lowered the voltage, still nothing. Threw on my 2 ohm Protank 3, no problem.

What's going on here. I don't think its the battery, since my protank worked. Is my atomizer fried? If that's the case, why is it blinking like crazy when it goes on the charger? Does the 19 flashes just mean its charged all the way?

Any help would be great, since I'm going out of town after work and need to know if I should be hunting down a new battery/tank/etc. before I hop on the bus.

did you put the Evod on a meter to check to see if the coil has shorted out? Replace the Evod coil and try again. Sounds like there's something amiss with your coil.

No, I don't have one of those. So if I can find a new coil, I should be good to go?

I am pretty sure the flashing indicates a short.

If it works on one topper and not the other, you can take a paperclip or small screw driver and "carefully" wiggle the center pin down a bit so that it makes better contact.

edit: if it doesn't work, your coil is toast

Either your coil is toast, or the center pin of the coil is not making contact with the battery.

5x flashes = batteries out.
More flashes (Shorting somewhere) or not working at all, it's the coils.

As mentioned above, either you've no contact or the atty is broken.
Did you screw it on realy tight? That can mess up the center pin.

I bought a new Spinner, and it only worked on one of my tanks, but not on any of my others. I wound up getting a replacement from the place I bought it. You might check to see if the contacts on the one tank are clean, it may not be making contact for some reason.

Just tried to open my evod and it won't open. I'm thinking I screwed it on too tight and it isn't making contact with the battery. Thanks for your help, guys.
