I'm no stranger to the Vision Stone. I've ordered 2 V1's, 3 V2's and 6 V3's with 2 replacement V3 innards. I never had any of the leak from the threads, but with the exception of one of the version 2's, they all gurgle. I usually unscrew it from the device and blow through it, but invariably it will start to gurgle again.

I'm using the V3 on a VV at 3.9 to 4.1 volts. No matter what I do the juice will gurgle and spit hot juice. I just now started using a new tank (after the wires broke off my two replacement innards). I tightened the post so its snug and only filled it up halfway with 90/10 PG/VG. I left it completely vertical and within 2 minutes, it has started to gurgle. I just removed the silicon cap and you can see the juice pooling in the cup under the coil. It's like there's too much wicking action. I'm thinking about shortening the wick and then tilting the tank to wet the coil.

This is my third Stone 3 that has this problem since I received my order a week ago. I love the concept of this tank and badly want it to work. I know GV has put a lot of innovation and effort into this product, but for me its not quite there yet.

Any suggestions on how to get the perfect vape from the Vision Stone is appreciated.

I only have one vision stone 2 tank, the only problem I've had is the gurgling after I fill the tank. If I put one primer drop on the coil and fill it just a little over half way it works fine. I like the idea of cutting down the wick, I may try that when I put in the new innards. I seem to be in the habit of always tipping anyway.

My first version 2 was perfect. It lasted 42 days of constant vaping with no leaks and no gurgles. The coil finally turned into a ball of black goo that I couldn't clean any more. My other two version 2's are still going, but they gurgle a little from time to time. The version 3's really seem to gurgle more than the version 2's in my opinion. I still really like the vision stone for it's modular nature and constant airflow over time.

Gurgle solved!!! After bad's suggestion, I went back and looked at the silicone cups to make sure they were seated and noticed that they weren't sealing well because of the wire connections. The ends of the coil twist around the wires and are somewhat long (between 1/8" and 3/16"). On one of the units, these were bent outwards with the wick and out the slot in the ceramic preventing the cup from covering the wick completely. On the other one, they were pointed straight up and wouldn't let the inner seal slide down inside the ceramic crucible. I bent them over towards the middle of the coil so the inner seal on the silicone slides inside the ceramic properly and bingo, no more gurgle, perfect draw, perfect wetting.

Loving my V3's now. Thanks GV, keep up the great work!
