looking at the stone tank, wondering if anyone been vaping with it since it came out.I order the vision extreme minis before christmas and i havent vaped anything since. i love these things..i got inventory building up now, cause smoketech tank/tank cartos and my boge cartos just dont give me the better vaping experience(flavor-th) that the vision does,so thinking this has to be just as good. any discount codes from gotvapes before i pull the trigger?

I have one just with a different name from another vendor.
My thoughts and experience with it for last several days.
The ce2 is a low ohm between 2.0 -2.2 and even after break in i was getting a burn taste on my megalodon a 3,7 PV.
I put it on my madvapes vv box and turned the pot down low, for those that do not know the pot controls the volts its a small wheel that one turns.
So i turned it down low not sure what volts as i have no meter but WOW it vapes excellent and my 555 e-liquid taste great i mean great.
So now i know what i have to do as i ordered 5 in total from both vendors still waiting on the rest to come in but will solder in a higher ohm ce2 eventually when this one burns out .
These tanks with upper and lower screw inside the tube caps have n gaskets to fiddle with and do not leak no leaks. :)
There very nice tanks and the price is well worth it in my opinion.

Weird. My caramel apple tastes good even up to 3.9.

Dieseler, how low did you go? Think 3.3 will do it (that's as low as my ProVari will go)?

Also, Bad said there will be replacement innards for these - we should probably ask for higher resistance... Sounds to me like they won't do too good on a regular no-frills eGo...

Other thread says they will be getting higher ohms 3 something. But the one I have is working fine on an ego.

On my ego the battery its a lower voltage coming off the charger as i can use the same tank on ego and my don and the vape is fine on the ego but not on the don. Im not complaining though . :)
I often hear on the ego the battery is rated around 3.4 or so.
On the Don the batteries are 3.7 and off the charger around 4.2 which may be too much for the low res Ce2.

Different juices may or may not make a difference as well im not sure just going by my experience with my juice i use which is 100% Pg.

I turned the pot on my vv box untill it just fired up the ce2 and it has no meter so i cant tell the volts.
I vape a tobacco e-liquid and its 100%Pg my guess is not all e-liquid burns the same as Pg is very thin compared to vg and the nice thing is if my 100%Pg is not leaking in this tank then thats a real big plus.
I ofter hear that ce2 ratings can be somewhat different than whats stated from manufacture but i have no way to tell.

Today my visions stone tank from gotvapes arrives and i will put it on my megalodon and put it thru its stages to see if i get the same results useing the same e-liquid as i only vape 1 type of e-liquid called 555.

But to me it does not matter as i have many ce2s to cut out of there stainless tubes rated at higher ohms up to 3.0 and those work just fine .
I plan on eventually useing my ce2s in these vision tanks by unsoldering the 2 wires and simply lifting its porcelain cup off the airtube and putting another on and resoldering the 2 new wires.

Im retired and need to watch my funds but have bought 4 vision tanks from gotvapes and with my higher ohm ce2s these are something that should last me a long time .

Ideally i would eventaully mod the bottom cap with a permanent 510 connector and then all that i would do is screw in a new ce2 to it.
Regardless these by far are the best tank for the best price i have ran across and i can personally tinker and really really enjoy them for my personal use.

man you are braver than me, as are many here. I have been banned from things that get hot as I manage to damage myself with regrettable regularity. Which is too bad because I have quite a few old crackomizers that I am not sure quite what to do with.

Im retired and like to experiment with things to keep me somewhat busy, oh i have gotten burnt fingers along the way when slodering but have gotten quite good at it i feel , Lionel trains taught me how to solder years ago....lol.

My dad, who is quite the modern day Renaissance man tried to teach me. It was the one thing besides baseball he gave up on. The baseball he gave up on because an extraordinary number of times when I was batting, I would hit the ball, ball would hit the ground, and then ball would bounce back and up and hit me in the face.

All I've used so far is Boge cartos. Would you mind telling me what cup v modification is ? I'm really interested in these tanks.
you make the v notches for the wicks in the white rubber cup seal sitting on top of the Coil alittle bigger so the wicks have a better chance of flowing the juice.
