Hi
Had my vivi nova mini about a week now and its been great, better then my evod which had gurgling issues which became very annoying for me.

Anyway last night i changed the head from the 2.4 ohm one to the 2.8 (i think) and it started out great. After a while i noticed that it started to gurgle, this is something that has never happen on the 2.4 ohm head, when i unscrewed the tank the from my eGo-C Twist i noticed that the battery center pin was flooded with juice.

So i dismantled the tank and put it back together making sure all was snug and tight (not over tight) and refilled, after a while it happened again so i got the 1.8 ohm (could be wrong value, lowest one that came with the tank) head and put that on after cleaning the tank and battery again.

All was going well and i thought i solved it so i went to bed and left the eGo standing up on its base like i normally do, in the morning i noticed that the juice in the tank had gone down to about 1ml (it was at just under 2ml), the top of the battery was flooded again and juice had run out the breath holes on the collar.

I did a quick clean and put the 2.4 ohm head back on as had to get to work and all appears to be sound again, no leaks in my pocket yet :)

Any ideas what could be causing these issues, Ive check that the silicon grommet on top of the head is seated probably and all appears to sealed. Its seems like the juice it going up the wicks and through the head and down the shaft to the battery, Is this possible, if so why?

I just got some resistance wire and 1mm & 2mm silica wick as was going to have a go a rebuilding the head but not sure now.

Looking forward to replies and hope this is the right place to ask.

What Ratio of VG and PG are you using? On the Evod unless it's leaking it may gurgle. When you suck on it you not only pull in air but will draw in some juice. So unless it leaks it should be ok. I have used the Evod and big brother Protank types. They gurgle. But unless you lose a seal or don't screw in the head good it's not usually a problem.
The Vivi. Diff things can make it leak. If you don't get a good seal on the tank part of it or you may want to check for stress cracks in the plastic in the threaded area. One other thing is if you are missing the silicone seals on the tank.

One thing to try would be to trim the wicks. Cut them off so that they are just a little longer than the tank is wide, and unravel, fluff up the threads of the wicks. The long wicks are unnecessary unless you never tip up your PV to take a vape. Also be sure the little metal washer in the top gasket is right side up, it should be facing so it resembles a cup. And be careful when removing the top cap to refill, unscrewing it can sometimes also loosen the coil inside, double check the tightness whenever refilling.

You didn't mention the brand of your Vivi, it can make a difference. I have 3 of the Vision brand, and haven't had any leaks, gurgles or problems in over a year. (sometimes gurgles a bit after a refill if I'm sloppy adding the juice:)) Rebuilding the coils is reasonably easy, and works very well with silica, ekowool or cotton.
