ViVi Mini TIGHT DRAW

Anyone experience a tight draw with the mini? I have 4 units they are the greatest!!! However, one of them has a tight draw that is about 2x the pull of the others. Any clues how to open the flow? Just askin......

Some of the old ones have the hole in the side on the gripping part of the metal rather than on the threads. Could this be a difference in them?

What are you using them on? Some battery/vivi nova combos have problems with the positive pin plugging the airway on the nova.

I'm using the eGo Twist with these. There is a space for the the bottom holes to breathe. The other 3 have no problems with this rig.

That was on version1.0 of the reg. size vivi nova, never on the mini

I get a tight draw with no batt attached.

I actaully got a defective Full Size Nova awhile back (Which GV promptly took care of) and it had NO air holes drilled into the 510 connection at all.

Did you check yours?

You can drill a larger hole yourself (in the 510 connection) to lighten up the draw, but its tricky to do without a drill press..

I've found that Vivi Mini's have a tighter draw than some of my other devices, but I don't like too airy a draw, so they suit my tastes well. It may just be the nature of the device and what you are comparing it to. I've read about increasing the size of the hole in the head to lighten the draw, but never tried it myself.

Yeah, I'll try the drill press. Good idea. It's just that one that is tight. Thanx Zipper and everyone else.

Try changing the head- that way you can figure out if it is the body or the head that is the problem.
