Vivi Nova 2.5 coil insulator?

Been rebuilding the above coil. It has what I would describe as a woven material in the shape of a tube that goes around the coil tails. Makes life much easier for my rebuilding. If someone knows and can tell me (G) what this is called, size, and source would appreciate it! TIA..

Seems a trivial thing, I guess I'll have to look at rebuilders supplies...

I know the tube you are referring to, and I would think it's made of a silica / fiberglass sort of compound, not sure where to source it from for replacements. I've always just removed the tube, and re-built my heads without them. You just need to be careful that your center coil lead doesn't touch the side, but goes straight through the head.

Agree with you there. The little bit of insulating material makes things easier when re-building and as you mention it helps prevent the shorting. Thanks for the reply!
