Vivi Nova 2.5 Leaks from Top Cap

Hello. I have been going through a lot of juice lately (more than I tape ha/ha) and have finally found the problem. My nova tank leaks into the top side of the metal cap from the silicone cap. The silicone is getting deformed when I screw down the top cap all the way. If I leave it loose enough to not deform the silicone, then the cap is extremely loose. Has anyone had a similar problem with this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Err, which way is correct? I think I have the concave side up.

on version 2.5 theres a tip if im correct that comes up out.. or am i confusing versions... i have 2 atm. im still trying to find a place that shows version diffrences my 2 units im told are a 2.5 and a 3 ...so not sure hard part is we r seeing vivi clones that say vivi on the tank coming out lately too.

the rounded concave part is up. The flat side faces the atty. You might make sure your head is screwed in all the way. If it is loose, juice will tend to leak around. Then your silicone cap will fit in a little lower. If this isnt working you might take a chance and cut the little cap just a hair shorter.
One cool thing I found out from another thread, is that most of the Vivi Nova original drip tips have a little silicone inner tube. It is supposed to fit just past the end of the drip tip so it sits flush with the silicone cap and you dont get leaking. Check inside the drip tip. It is made of the same material as your silicone cap. Let us know if your vivi nova came with it. I have 3 and only 1 had the little tube. I tried it out and a makes a big difference.

I have this problem too more time that I want to admit. You take out the drip tip and the well got some juice in it, some times I get it in my mouth. I just clean it up an reposition the rubber cap with a pen.

not over-filling the tank also helps with this problem. fill it to 2.8ml maximum.

Ys going by what i was told. might be a knockoff too labeling as a 3. maybe i can post pix later if it stops being hectic of diffrences in the 2 i have atm. i know most the diffrences atn though it just sucks replacing heads when you have certain versions... ok sleep now fell asleep twice while typing
