I have a Vivi Nova 2.5 and love it. It's been serving me well for 6 months straight with rebuilding a new coil weekly and a new cotton wick every 2-4 days depending. As a matter of fact, I've been rebuilding the same two heads for the entire 6 months in preparation for the vapocolypse and figured if I could keep it running indefinately, I'd be ready for any bans with a supply of about 12 or so heads. The funny thing is, I've started having trouble upon reassembly of the top after filling. I get everything assembled, add some liquid, and when I go to screw on the top, the silicone top cap beneath mushrooms into the hole where the drip tip passes to the coil. I have to fidget with it for quite some time along with a toothpick to keep the silicone top cap exactly centered, and everntually it works, or either it pushes the silicone top cap down past the lip that prevents the crushing of the wick and I have to try again. I'd been standing firm that I was going to keep this head going, but tonight, I threw in the towel and attributed it to the silicone getting softer. I took out a new head, put a new silicone top hat on my rebuilt head, and had exactly the same problem. HELP! I just got it working and filled with juice, so I'll look again tomorrow, but it's almost as if the "tower" inside the Vivi tank has gotten longer, and now the silicone top cap is getting too much pressure as the top is screwed in place. I don't see any problem with it, and it doesn't look any different.
The "only" difference I can detect is that when I first began using it, the center positive contact on the base of the Vivi, which contacted the battery contact, protruded from the rest of the 510 connector. That has slowly gotten pushed in from reseating it over the months, but it still makes contact just fine. Could this have pushed the center post up, but not be visible when it's disassembled?

Thanks!
