anybody want to give me a step by step for cleaning this bad boy? I looked around even on youtube and couldnt find much.
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance
Ok...after about two weeks just cleaned my first one...can it really be that easy? Is there anything not to like about these? All the other clearomizers I've tried generated reactions from mild dislike to utter hatred.
Rick, I too am suspiciously fond of my VN. The only problem I have had with it thus far is that it does not properly screw onto my Provari Mini. Other then that it doesn't leak, doesn't gurgle, and tastes great on my Joye 18650 mod. There's got to be a catch.
I dont know what happened, last night I took a hit on the VN and my light on ego-t batt just blinked. So I took it apart and cleaned everything and got it back together and it worked. Same thing happened today but now after I put it back together, I get nothing but blinking on the batt. Is the atty head done already its been a week and half
That's weird, since I primarily use the Novas on a Provari.
Huh. I will tell you what happens: I screw the tank into the threads and it's very tight. There comes a point where I just can't screw it in any more but there's still a millimeter or so to go before it's completely "on". Does that make sense? I would rather replace a $15 tank than a $185 PV because I wrecked the threads.
That said, I am jealous. I bet the 2.8ohm head is wicked at high voltage![]()

Oh, ok....I think I finally caught up. When tightened down enough (just needs to be mildly snug), there IS a tiny gap between the Provari and the tank. I don't think that's a fit issue, really. I wouldn't force anything as fragile as a tank, but I'll bet you would screw up the threads on the tank before the threads on the Provari.
As far as the head being great at high voltage...really, it's about the watts. If I was typically using the Nova on my Twist, I'd use the 2.4 ohm head. There's no inherent difference between the two...the 2.8 just needs a little more voltage to make the same heat (watts). At the same watts, the higher voltage/higher resistance combination creates a bit less drank on the battery, and a .1 volt increase gives you a slightly smaller increase in wattage, making higher voltage/resistance combinations a little easier to "fine tune". Between 2.4 and 2.8 ohms, I doubt very much you would even notice the higher sensitivity of the adjustment. You aren't really giving anything up.
If it's helpful, here are the relevant adjustments on the 2.4 ohm head and the 2.8 ohm head:
Volts Ohms Watts Amps
3.2 2.4 4.3 1.3
3.4 2.4 4.8 1.4
3.6 2.4 5.4 1.5
3.8 2.4 6.0 1.6
4 2.4 6.7 1.7
4.2 2.4 7.4 1.8
4.4 2.4 8.1 1.8
4.6 2.4 8.8 1.9
4.8 2.4 9.6 2.0
3.2 2.8 3.7 1.1
3.4 2.8 4.1 1.2
3.6 2.8 4.6 1.3
3.8 2.8 5.2 1.4
4 2.8 5.7 1.4
4.2 2.8 6.3 1.5
4.4 2.8 6.9 1.6
4.6 2.8 7.6 1.6
4.8 2.8 8.2 1.7
Mostly I vape around 4.5 volts on the 2.8 ohm head, which produces about 7.2 watts of heat to vaporize the juice, and draws about 1.6 amps from the battery. If I was using a 2.4 volt head I would drop the voltage to around 4.1-4.2 volts and it would produce the same vape, but be a little bit harder on the battery life (drawing about 1.7 amps). If you like more wattage (heat), you have more range on the Twist with a lower resistance head. Otherwise, you can adjust the voltage for the same effect with either head. Hope this helps!
Thanks RickAfter reading your post I tried the tank on the Mini again, and I got twice as many dry hits as I did when it was on the Joye. So I will continue to use my DCCs and DCC tanks on the Provari, and keep the Vivi on the Joye. It works really well there. I will also try it on the Siam Mod I am buying with my next paycheck
Yes, I have CMAS (Compulsive Mod Acquisition Syndrome) hahaha.
