Phil Bursado has a great video on cleaning them on his site tasteyourjuice.com. I'd watch that. But basically after every 3 tanks or so take everything apart & run it under warm water. Be careful not to pull on the wicks when washing. Dry everything with a paper towel. Put it all together & blow out any water that's gotten into the center post. A couple of quick dry burns. Fill it backup with juice. Let it saturate for a few mins & you're good to go!

You're very welcome! Hopefully you'll watch the video but be careful on the dry burn. I only do it twice for about 2 seconds each time. If you do it for too long you'll burn your wicks & after that there's nothing you can do but trash it & put on a new one. I learned that the hard way! Lol!
