OK I searched and couldn't find anything on the basic ones from GotVapes.. I just ordered a couple of the metal tank replacements from them for my hubby's Novas because for some reason his plastic tanks just aren't holding up.. It seems that the menthol flavor he was using in one of them destroyed the plastic like cinnamon or citrus would so I'm wondering if there was some hidden lemon or something in the liquid..

Anywho, aside from my rambling.. Has anyone used these before? GotVapes ViVi NOVA Metal Tube Cover - BLACK [gv-VIVINOVA-MetalTube-BLACK] - $3.45 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

I know there isn't any way to see how much liquid is left inside other than opening the top but that's not a huge deal, I just want to make sure they'll fit ok and not wear out quickly.

Thanks in advance :)

Ive heard people like them.
there are vivi nova tanks metal with the little slotted windows though.
I think they are called Neptune vivi nova tanks most places? I'm not 100% sure on that.
Ive seen them called Neptune tanks.
But even these neptune tanks with the metal and the little window?
They are encased in poly plastic on the inside. So if they crack, the metal holds the liquid in.
But, they can still crack. And if they crack where the window is at, ur tank is done.
So the full metal tanks are great for what your after. A long lasting tank.

The metal is great though. Wont wear out at all. Its a good investment. It'll last u a while.

I used the metal vivis a lot before my Kanger Pro Tanks arrived. The easiest way I found to determine how much eliquid was left in them is stick a toothpick inside it along side the metal wall.

I have the metal novas. It's actually easy to tell when you are running low- the taste loses it's flavor just before you hit empty, but enough to warn you, like 30-40 puffs left of juice in there. I think it's in how the wicks work, but I was worried about not being able to see how much juice was in them, and had always used clear plastics before, and it turned out to be a non-issue.

Menthol also cracked my plastic clearomizers, as did spearmint. a clove flavor cracked up my iclear, so the vivi nova became a necessity and I've been very happy with mine so far. The flavor is very consistent, unlike the clearomizers out there.

I think part of it for him was that while he did vape the menthol occasionally, for the most part it sat in his case not moving.. So I think that contributed to the cracking and clouding of the plastic. It is good to hear that it wasn't a singular event. Hubby was freaking out a bit wondering how he screwed it up LOL

His other tank cracked open at the bottom but that was entirely user error.. He uses it on his heavy battery and knocks it over constantly so that poor little plastic tank really didn't stand a chance :p

I ordered a metal tank as part of my Mini Vivi Nova set (so I never even had the plastic version). I did this so that i would never have to worry about what flavors I used or even an accidental drop. for these reasons it has served me very well and I love it.

That said as others have mentioned there are drawbacks. First when filling you do need a fairly bright light to see down into the tank to see when to stop filling. Also you have to pay attention to when it starts getting low or just periodically refill even if it's not low.

My overall opinion is that the little extra effort on filling and knowing when to refill is well worth the peace of mind mind know that your tank will not crack or break. The added bonus for Vision Vivi Novas is that the threaded design makes leaking a near non-issue. The only time I have ever had any leakage on my Vivi is when i have either way overfilled it or accidentally gotten juice down the center hole while filling. I was able to fix the second problem by using needle tip bottles to fill it.
