I apologize if this is in the wrong forum.

I got my very first PV kit, with both a Vivi Nova and a Mini Nova tanks. The Mini is rocking so far, but the larger version has a really tight draw for some reason. If it's real quiet I can hear a bit of a squeaky sound, like air trying to get through. It's producing vapor, but not as effortless as the mini.

I think there's something wrong with my tank. Is there something that could be jamming it up? Any way to fix it? I have 2 batteries and tried swapping out to see if there was something going on there. Both tanks are brand new as of today.

Thanks

Hi! Are you using a sleeve on it? With some of my tanks the airflow is obstructed if the sleeve is screwed up too close to the tank.

ETA: You posted at the same time I did. When you mention "trim," it's likely the same thing as I meant by"sleeve." Does it work if you take the trim off completely? Oops. I see that you did. Uh, duh. I should have read your post completely.

I want bareback on the spinner (no sleeve). Draw was just as tight as before.

Nol is it gurgeling at all?
The Nova is really simple... It seems like the stem in your nova is a bit too long... Is the head screwed down really tight?
Every little bit helps.
The minis vent holes are right above the threads on the stem...
Make sure you dont have it cranked down on the PV... Just enough to make contact.

Well here's a little update. I took the whole thing apart, and for some reason the air restriction was at the replaceable head piece. The coil and wick looked fine, I mean as far as a noob like me could tell.
I put the 1.8 ohm head in and dialed my voltage down on the spinner to 3.8 which, according to the chart I have, putts me at 8 watts. My mini is running at 7.4 so roughly in the same neighborhood. All seems well so far :D
