ViVi Nova internal construction

Has anyone torn apart a Vivi Nova or have a diagram that shows how the internals normally hidden from view are constructed?

I'm particularly interested in the electrical path between the slotted pin that connects to the positive pin in the PV's 510 well, and the other end where the metal shaft connects to the slotted positive connector on the tank's replaceable head.

I'd like to know if the slotted pin and the metal shaft are one solid part, or if they're split internally and connected to each other by a wire.

The reason I ask is that I had a tank that wasn't making contact with my device. So I pulled the slotted pin out just enough to where I knew it was making contact in the 510 well, but I still wasn't getting an electrical connection. I suspect by pulling the split pin down slightly that it also moved the metal shaft away from the head. IOW, where before I lost the connection at the 510 well, I'm now losing it at the replaceable head. That would make sense if the slotted pin and the metal shaft were one solid part, but wouldn't make sense if they were two separate parts connected by a (flexible) wire.

Anyone know if this is one solid metal piece, or two pieces connected internally by a wire?

Regards,
Frank

The post getting pushed in is a common problem with many devices.

I don't know exactly how the center pin connects to the positive post running through the air tube but pulling the post like you did is a common thing we all wind up doing except those who have the smoktech version of the Vivi Nova which has a spring loaded center post.

I have a vision version and I couldn't get it to fire and pulling the post didn't help. The coil tested good and the problem wound up being that the center pin of the atomizer wasn't contacting the positive connection in the air tube so I pulled the center pin of the atomizer out about 1/32" to 1/16" and that took care of the problem.
