i had a problem with my mini leaking, i was getting all sorts of juice in my mouth, and i could not figure out the problem. i noticed that the tube in the middle was not completely straight, so when i screwed on the top cap it was not creating a sufficient seal. i had this problem with a vision v3 clearo and the problem with that was the plastic tube started coming off of the metal base, those dont screw on or off so i just shoved it back down, problem solved, but that was not the case with my vivi, those screw on to their metal bases. so after screwing and unscrewing and being certain i did it right, it was still not aligned. then i just happened to notice that the metal base had a gap from where the threaded connector was coming out of the ring that the plastic base screws into. it was not as easy as just squeezing it back to place, i had to actually take a pair of pliers and gently pop back in, after that things returned to normal, and i can once again love my vivi mini, and when i say love, i freaking mean it, i love this thing, hope that helps someone.

Mine had the same problem. Not fixable i'm afraid. Tried straightening it and the whole center post came off. Looks as if it was pressed on wrong to begin with as the aluminum at the base is rolled (was on initial inspection as well). Why can't the center post screw on?! Make a simple base with a male 510 connection on either side, and a center post with two females. Maybe i'll make my own damned tank... :(

I noticed yesterday that my center post wasn't straight, and that was due to the base coming out a bit. I tried to fix it bu pushing it down and twisting, but ever since that, I felt like my juice taste different. It still hits and no juice is leaking but yea... kinda finicky.

And I almost dumped the juice on my hand as well... base was screwed on too tight and didn't know I was screwing off the tank lol. Good thing I looked down.

I also have the same problem. Mine happens a few times a day. I push it back down and screw at the same time to save some of my juice but its annoying. It only happens on one of my minis. The other is fine and I have never had a leak out of it. I really hate to trash it though but its costing me more juice than its worth.

I also have a problem with leaking with my metal tube. I want to try your fix, but can't undestand what you are saying. Can you explain again please :)?

I don't have a Mini—at least, I don't think it is; mine holds 3.5ml and I think that's the "standard" size?—but I don't have the problem you are describing. I was just wondering if someone out there who has both the mini and the standard can tell me: is the construction the same on both? And is the mini's base the same diameter as the standard, or is it smaller?

You have the Vivi Nova. This Mini's base is much smaller. The same diameter as an eGo battery. The heads are interchangebale though.

Look at your mini with the top off... Is it crooked? That's because it's not threaded right. Thread it again until the post is exactly in the middle... Problem solved ;)

haw big around is the mini want one for my ego twist but dont want it to look stupid so for a size compairson how big around is it?
like same dia. as silver bullet or as big as an ego want one but like i said dont want it to look stupid and are they durable? worth getting a regular vivi nova for at work?

The Mini Vivi Nova is the same diameter as an eGo battery. You also need a thread sleeve to hide the eGo threads.

The Mini Vivi is sligtly wider than an eGo, about 4mm. The drawback, it holds just 2 ml (Don't fool me, not 2.5). The Kanger though, is the size of the eGo skirt, longer, but holds 2.4 ml (real). Looks sleeker the Kanger in reality.

SeaBrz: (gonna try and answer for Susaz) I don't think kanger ever made a "full length" wick. There are long and short versions to my understanding as with most ce2 style clearo's. They also recently released the T3 bottom coil which should have absolutely NO problem wicking every last drop of juice. Seem to be sold out EVERYWHERE though.

VIVI NOVA update: I broke my first one trying to post straighten. actually got it straight and now it won't fire. I bought another one with a silver aluminum tube to match my new chrome LavaTube. Works good, tastes good, wicks OK. All in all I'm glad I got a new one and actually tried it on a VV mod.

Hey, Susaz. I really liked the design of the T2 when it came out, but am not a fan of the short wicks. Did Kanger finally introduce new heads with full length wicks? If so, please share a link. Thanks!

There is a long(er) version that vapes up to par to the Vivi. In fact, i you like an airy draw they can be sizzling. The Vivi needs longer softer pulls to get flavor.

Ego CC - V2 und V3 Review - YouTube look at minute 4:37 and you'll see your long wicks... American vendors don't stock them
