Hello, new to forum.

I just bought a multimeter today in order to check the ohms for when I start rebuilding my coils. I tested the Vivi nova set up I have (2.4 ohm atomizer that has not been tampered with) and got a reading of 3.4 ohms instead of 2.4. I believe I am testing it correctly (red wire to bottom post, black to threads)...is this probably just a mislabeled atomizer? I could swear it vapes more like 2.4 ohms. I only want to make sure that I am not doing anything wrong before I trust the multimeter with rebuilt coils. My regular 510 atomizers read accurately.

thanks!

AFAIK, the Vision Vivi Nova heads come in 1.8, 2.4, and 2.8. I would either check it with another multimeter or a mod that checks ohms, to see if its the meter of the atomizer head. Or you could try testing any other heads you have, or anything that already has the ohms labeled to see if there is a difference with anything else with that meter.

EDIT: Just saw your second post. If you are starting at 1 ohm, your not "zeroed" properly. Touch your two connections together, and there may be a reset or a zero button on your meter.
