I recently bought two vivi nova tanks. I was just wondering if anybody has any tips to prevent getting the dreaded dry hit. I put some thicker juice in one and thinner in the other. The thinner juice works fine and thats to be expected, but the thicker juice takes a good minute to wick back up. If thinning out the thick juice is an option, what should I use? Thanks:)

A drop or two of distilled water per tank may thin it out enough for you. You can also prime the wicks by putting a drop or two of the juice down the center tube to prime the wick.

On thicker juice I just lay the Nova on its side/swirl the juice and/or slow down the frequency of hits so that the wick can get full again.

The little topcap take an cut a little notch above where the wick is on each side. They dont have to be big just something so it allows better wicking with thicker juice. You can also take the head an spread ( just a tad ) the metal where the wick sits and that helps also. When the tank gets low you got to do the tip/swirl to keep it wet. This is how I have mine and works for me, no dry hits.
