i got a vivi nova the other day at a vape shop in st.joseph mo and it is a 3.5 ml tank with a 2.5ohm coil head and 4 strands of silica wick. i went from a cartomizer tank system to this cause my cartomizer burned and i wasn't able to buy more cartos at the time. but with the vivi nova i have noticed after setting i pick it up vape on 3.1 volts and get a good hit but when i go to vape again i get a burnt taste every time i think it sucks at wicking. anyone else have this problem or a fix to the problem it is a good tank but i like to chain vape for a little bit lay it down for a while pick it up again and chain vape. to me the vivi nova dosen't like me chain vaping much but i do plan in the near future to rebuild the coil on the vivi nova but i dont' have the stuff right now to rebuild but mainly i want to know if anyone has this problem and maybe a possible way to fix it.

I've never really been a chain vaper, so I can't help there. But with the nova you do have to tilt the device when your juice level gets low. With it being a top coil design you can get dry hits if you don't give it an occasional tilt and swirl.

When you come to rewick it, give cotton a try, you'll be amazed at the difference in flavour. Plenty of threads about cotton wicks on here.

I've not used a nova for a while, but if I remember right there's a silicone ring (with a metal piece inside it) that sits just above the coil. If the silicone ring is pushed down too tight on to the wick it can restrict the juice flow. I've seen some people cut a small section out of this ring where it touches the wick on both sides. Might be worth a try. Have a search for nova wicking issues, it should help.

You can't beat the taste of juice in the mouth

    No you can't
Vivi Nova's are know for dry hits; Like it was said soon as you think it taste burnt tilt it and get that wick wet also prime a new wick and wait 10 - 15 min to soak in before using it.

Fill the tank back up at the half way point don't wait.

Don't lay it down on it's side keep it upright.

If you had extra wick you could add a small flavor wick on top of the coil.

It's a learning curve sometimes hard draw works for more juice want less juice don't draw as hard.

Next tank you get; go for a bottom feeder like protank 1 or 2 stay away from the version 3 double coil for now.

Protank wicks are very easy to make.
