vivi nova questions

So I posted before and got some really good replies. I started out with a starter ego c kit a year ago and vaped for about 3 weeks then went back to smoking. 3 weeks ago I decided to try again. I got the ego c twist and a vivi nova mini. Problem with the twist is battery life and getting a really good vape going. I got a v max and I Love it.......but the vivi nova tips get hot. Sometimes I can get a few really good hits but they are few and far between. I also got the bigger vivi nova and a aclear knockoff so I have 3 to use. All seem to get to hot. My question is...... what else can I get that is simple to use. I do vape ALOT and I have a feeling the vivi is not made for chain vaping? I am using the 2.8 ohms mostly and the vmax set on 3-3.5. Is it the vivi, is it me, or both? Any advice or thoughts would be fantastic

Are you getting burn tastes/dry hits? Or is the tank itself getting hot?

No dry hits, the tip just gets hot

For 2.8ohm attys 3V is a bit low - I've been using this chart as my baseline and it works pretty well. (Similar setup - vivi nova, 2.8ohm heads, on an ego mega v/v)

Does it work better at 3.75 or 4? Or does it make the heat worse?

If I go higher then it spits hot juice in my mouth.

Hopefully someone else can chime in, but it definitely sounds like there is something wrong with your nova. Have you tried a different head? (or a different nova entirely)

..oops, you said you did. Hmm. I chain on my novas all day with no heat issues (just the opposite on a few, since I have the 'stonehenge' metal tips. Brr..)

What about a different battery?

The nova seems to work better with the twist. I'm gonna try a DCT and see how that works on the v max
