    No you can't
New coil put in today, vaping with it about six hours thought I pop it, 0 ohms. Pulled it out washed/dryed it, look good to me not burnt.
;) Moved the wick little to left then the right a few times then centered the wick. Put back in dry burned it lite up like a champ, Wow have to be more careful might be throwing out good coils/wick. Pays to double check, when your cheap and tied of going to back yard to pick the ripe fruit off the money tree, starting to go out of season.

Glad you figrured it out!
    0 ohms = short
    Infinite ohms = break.

    P.S.
Anyone ever tell you "Don't throw em out....... "?
    lol. jk
New coil wire is a few cents per foot when you get into rebuilding....

Yup, and there is a good amount of satisfaction in doing it yourself.

I've haven't thrown out any coils, that was the way I express it though.
I haven't started to build any coils yet. Plaace an order for 10 coils at a cost of $16.28 counting shipping ($1.63 each) to have a starting point that will bring my count of coil parts to 15.
Have a couple of question where do you guys get your wick and coil wire from, how much is the cost that it makes it worth your while to make your own coils ?
How long your coils last until you replace one.
I figure it cost about 30 cents each when all done.
