Does anyone know if fasttech uses knockoff replacement heads for their novas? I noticed that the whicks are a LOT thinner than I used to get for my old nova tank I used up until a couple months ago. And,now I get a lot of slurpiness from my new novas. Also, does anyone happen to know why the ohms/wattage readings are constantly fluxuating on the coil head readings? :glare:

Uhh, nothing against fasttech, but I see tons of knockoff stuff on their store all the time. It sounds like you got a bad setup :\ If it sounds too good to be true...
If the ohm readings are fluctuating, there are several possible causes. You could have a short, or hot spots, or a loose connection. Are all the contacts on your mod and the nova clean and shiny?

Hi puffymore, welcome to the forum.

With Fasttech, if they don't specify the manufacturer, they are clones or generic copies.

I've not had any luck with the coil heads from fasttech and when I used to purchase them, got them from myvaporstore.

As for the gurgle, all I can suggest is making sure everything is nice and snug. It's sometimes hard to fix a gurgling vivi nova.
Usually it's either the bottom seal on the coil head, or the top silicone cap not sealing against the drip tip or against the wicks.

As for the fluctuations of the ohms, it could be the wires on the wrap may be too close together, you can space them out with a toothpick. That might help.

Nothing wrong with fasttech if you know how to shop there. They state clearly when something is genuine. For example, if you buy an innokin MVP, it's going to be Innokin. Same with the Kanger protank.

If it doesn't say who the manufacturer is, it's going to be a clone or a copy.
