vivi nova tank wicking problems?

just tried these with pg only juice and it still wicks bad a lot of hit or miss. i also cut off about 0.8-1mm of the rubber cap as well

I'll start out by saying I'm not a big fan of Vivis, mostly because I don't like the hot vape from top coil claros. I broke my last Protank so I had no choice, I drilled out the bottom air hole with a 1/16th bit and the air hole in the coil with the next sized bit. I replaced the wick with a rolled cotton one. It wicks and vapes great, by tightening or loosening the Vivi on my mod I can adjust airflow. It's working like a champ now. Still getting a hot vape but I can live with it till my new protanks come.
