Vivi nova threading mod?

Has anyone ever bought or modded a Vivi Nova so that it had a bit longer of a 510 threading? I'm curious because I have to use a 510 to 510 adapter because the airflow gets choked when I'm using it on my lava tube. If it is not sold anywhere I'm wondering if it would be easy to do a DIY of it through soddering or something like that.

I made a little, and I do mean small, insert that I used to put in the PV before I threaded the carto into it. It amounted to a flat o-ring with a metal center to look at it. That's why I quit using 510 threaded PVs because of the issues with different suppliers cartos and attys.
I think an adapter is your only choice right now. Good luck.
