Vivi nova v2 question

Hey guys, I have quite a few vivi nova v2 replacement atomizers here with me ranging from 1.8 ohms to 2.4 ohms.

Im having multiple issues... Some of them won't fire for some reason. I want to check the ones I have without putting juice on them so I can keep the good ones and return the defective ones to the seller.

i guess my question is this; can I fire these dry and see if the coils heat up like I would on my dripping atomizers?

Or would this ruin the heating element making it taste burnt?

Unless they somehow got rewicked with cotton a short dry burn will not hurt them at all - just pull the little silicone cap of and look down the middle (just put the base with the coil on your battery - no tank, no top, no drip tip)

I have been at this quite awhile and haven't found the heads bad at all. I only use vision heads but it is usually the coil that is bad and they can be rebuilt with new silica very easily.

If you bought vision heads and trying to use them on a Smok vivi they won't work. Vision don't have the pointy top (flat top) with plastic grommet, the Smok ones do.
