In my limited time of vaping I have been primarily been using attys. with that said, I received a ViVi Nova v2 in the mail today. This thing is a pile IMHO. The taste is gone, no matter the ratio of PG/VG juice I throw in it. IT vapes, kinda. Get too many dry hits, it has a very loose draw and when i mod it like ive seen on the youtube vids it get kinda alright. The vapor production on this thing is 1/3 of an atty, or at least my attys. I think I have spoiled myself with attys and now i just threw away $13.00 on a pile.
I bought a Phiniac tank on Friday and got my Cartos in for it today awaiting on the tank. I really hope the tank / carto combo is better than this thing or I'm going to be greatly disappointed.
Looks like I'm back to dripping until then.

What do yall think?

Provari i started at 3.9v all the way to 6v on every tip 1.8, 2.4 and 2.8.

my ViVi Nova v2 does not have the 2 holes on the side. actually it has no holes like the ones in any of the vids and it's very airy. ive tried putting sealed 510 to 510 adapters on, in the hopes it would stop some air flow and still sucks imho.
ATTYS FTW, is all i got to say.

Scott,

The version 2 and 2.5 have their airholes on the top of the 510 connector. I find them really inconsistent. One has a really tight draw to me, and the next is fine. If you have one that is too airy, try stuffing a toothpick into one of the holes and see if that helps. it is a shame we have to mod these things, but it is what it is. I even removed the center post of one with a really tight draw and re-drilled all of the air holes to make it work. Nonetheless, they provide a much cleaner taste to me than the carto's. But I do recognize how subjective taste is.

Wishing you the best-

Have you tried pushing down the the silicon sleeve in the provided drip tip? If not, it makes a pretty big difference. If you look into the top of the drip tip, you should see the sleeve. Put the drip tip on the the VN tank, then take a q-tip and push it down.

I haven't, I never even used the stock drip tip, I just used a ss one,

Im not sure mind has a rubber sleeve, ,is it In the top of the tank ?x

The one thing I had to get use to with the nova's/stardust's (I like the stardust better than the Nova) is that they take less voltage. It just seemed so foreign to me to be turning the power down that low to get them to work right.
They taste better than a carto, but not the same as dripping. But, I can buy two Nova's for what one of my atties cost.
