ViVi Nova with a crooked shaft. Solved!

I'm on my 3rd ViVi Nova tank, had one stolen (with the eGo battery!), cracked one. This one arrived with the center shaft slightly to one side. This made the rubber gasket at the top poke up into the mouthpiece hole on one side. I tried and tried to straighten it, but couldn't get it. The result; bubbly draws and an occasional mouthful of liquid. Blegh! I remembered my younger days, as a smoker of alternate substances, and that we used to break up old faucet bubblers, and take the screens out for our pipes. I had one, and pulled it apart to find TWO screens! I trimmed one down, fit it up inside the top cap of the tank, and it WORKED! No more bubble sounds, no more juice in the mouth! I iz a geenyus!

Did you do any moving of the air tube? Or was it just the screen that was making everything cattywompus?

Oh. I called it the shaft. *shrug* Yes, I tried to straighten it, but the gasket kept popping up through the hole the mouthpiece fits into. The screen I fit into the cap prevents that now. I was just hoping to help anyone else who has this problem. The Nova doesn't come with the screen, and that wasn't the problem. The screen FIXED the problem.
