Thought I'd try a wick style tank. (just trying everything with my Provari)
1st I screwed on the tank to find it didn't screw down flush with the provari.
I used some sand paper and sanded it down a bit at a time till it was flush.
I proceeded to put some juice in. Since it was a wick style I though I'd try one of the thinner liquids I had.
I let the tank sit filled for twenty minutes for the wick to soak up the juice. When I tried it there was a plastic taste.
Apparently they use some kind of oil within the tank. I proceded to remove the tank and cleaned out the tank. I then put my favorite beverage in the tank. (American Honey)
Let the honey in the tank for 15mins just so there were no odd tastes left in the tank. Rinsed out the tank. They burned the wick a bit to dry it out.
Put my Juice back in and my juice seems to have a bit more flavor. Tons of vapor. Just a slightly harder draw then my dct tank.
I'm really liking this tank with the wick system.

CONS: Had to sand down the bottom so the tank was flush with the provari. The first 20-30 mins I only could get a drawl or two then no vapor but after 30mins it was working like a champ.

I'm on my second tank now. Still vaping strong.

I'll give an update in a week or two

I just got a J-Tank with some Boge SRs and the Vivi Nova from eletronicstix in the same order. The J-Tank has been going perfect since the first fill.

The first fill of the Vivi Nova had the same exact issue as you. I wasn't getting much vapor and there was a burnt oily taste. It might be the juice I was using because it is pretty thick (RY8 from PinkSpot). I've cleaned it out and rinse all the parts, just haven't tried it again with some thinner juice.

I came very close to buying one. Still debating, but I am waiting to see what the new version is like before I commit. I am using a dct tank with boge. Was trying to decide whether or not to get this or the hh357 today and decided to go with the 357. In a couple weeks I might try this one but my worries is the life of the atomizer. I am tired of throwing money away. Did that for a year with the smoketek Mega dual coil carts. I am fairly happy with the dct but wish I had 3.0, but at the time I only had a volcano inferno.

I've got one and really like it but that's after redoing it with my own coil and wick. The original coil and wick worked decent after initial break in but not really anything to speak about and didn't last long. I've heard they are supposed to be improving the coil assembly to preform better on the next batch but that remains to be seen. Right now what makes it worth it to me is it's so easy to rebuild.

If you don't like to tinker and just want something out of the box that performs great you'd probably be better off looking elsewhere, the E1 Revive is supposed to be really good out of the box.
