If you want a cig sized PV then the XL KR808D-1 batteries with Boge cartomizers are the best, there's no comparison for battery life in something that small, if you want something a bit longer lasting battery wise then a Riva / eGo kit is cheap too.

Either way you can get started out very cheaply these days, it's a great time to be getting into vaping.

I second that, but I think Chrissie's idea is better yet. At $29.99, you could get two of these Riva kits for what one Inferno kit would cost and have change to spare: Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510

you do get one 1000 mah battery along with a 650 mah with the inferno. I kinda just answered the question blue or volcano without adding in other options . But for sure the Riva is a nice deal @ 29.99. Only other thing is warranty Riva has 3 months and the inferno has a year.

Yeah, it's not really a complete no-brainer--I have the Inferno myself. The 650mAh pass-thru is nice to have.

Thats a great price..BUT it is automatic.. I think the manual battery is 5 times better..esp for someone who has been esmoking. All around best is the 510 joye

Now, where did you get an idea like that? Rivas are manual, of course. There isn't even such a thing as an automatic Riva battery.

I'm not talking about the inferno though oi mean the regular volacano standared. Edition that way I get some carts and a PCC any thing I get I would much rather have a PCC just so it never died on me. :)

The PCC's look cool, but what's even cooler are single batteries that last you 6-12 hours depending on how much you vape. I say +2 for a Riva. Don't make the noob mistake and get an PV that looks like a regular cigarette and has a cigarette box styled PCC. PV's aren't cigarettes, totally different technology than burning tobacco.

Too big for what? It's like a small cigar. It uses 510 atomizers and cartomizers. You could go for a 510 mega battery. But like my girlfriend you'll just get fed up having to charge them all the time. She's wishing she just would have bought an eGo or Riva to start with rather than two mega batteries and two regular 510 batteries.

Like I said, different technologies. A regular cigarette is the size it is because it only has to last as long as one cigarette. But people expect their PV batteries to last many cigarettes. For which you need a larger battery.
