Just thought i'd share my thoughts on my new volt kit from Smokeless Image. If you're like me and have been vaping a while you pretty much are rockin mods or egos with low resistance on the regular. I've been pretty satisfied with my pv evolution thus far, but i miss some of the things that small batteries allow you to do. for example holding an 1100mah ego in your mouth and vaping hands free, is pretty challenging. For one thing, it's pretty heavy, and for two things you have to press the button, so unless you can press the button with your tounge it's not possible. Thats why i was pretty excited to try volt. At the same time, I was a little reluctant. I remember not being satisfied with my 510 autos and boge standard cartos. but the volt is an entirely different animal. The thing just works, and it works well. It produces tons of vapor and even throat hit. The auto switch works flawlessly and you don't even have to do primer puffs. I've used one battery (68mm one I think) pretty much all day today with the pcc (iphone shaped one) and have yet to completely drain the battery...when i'm done vaping i just throw it in the case for when i go to use it next and you have a fresh charged battery everytime. I'm a pretty heavy vaper so thats pretty good. The PCC is pretty rad as well, my only complaint about it is that it's pretty flimsy plastic. I'm afraid that if i drop it it's toast...i haven't tested that out and i don't Intend to...It would be cool if the plastic was a little sturdier or even if the clear plastic on the front was replaced with a strong thin type of glass like on an iphone. It does work flawlessly though so i'll just try not to break it.
In closing i'll just say that if you're on the fence about wether to buy a volt kit or not, buy it. You'll be stoked on it. If you're happy with just your mods and big batteries then don't buy it.
If you're new to vaping and want something that works well and feels like a cigarette, this is the kit you want...get the one with the cool pcc...it has pretty lights and works well.
P.S. the colored batterys have that rubberized type of coating on them. They look and feel really nice.
