Now first of all THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT. I know criticizing a REO can get some people looking up my street address!
I received my first Reo last week and it's pretty much all I use now, and I've got several others I could use.
i have noticed that as the charge in the batteries declines, I have to crank up the voltage wheel to compensate. This isn't a huge deal, I was just wondering if this is normal. My other regulated devices don't require this.
Still the pluses out weigh this minor negative by a long shot.

Do you know what the voltage of the battery is reading when you notice the voltage drop? The reason I ask is that with all my vv mods I have previously used before switching to the Reo Grand, I would notice a voltage drop when my 18650 batteries got around 3.4 or 3.5 volts. I can't say specifically about the vv Reo Grand because I don't own one.

I would highly advise getting a multimeter to keep track of batteries especially with stacking them. The only time I see a voltage drop is when the VV Grand is fixing to cut off. I have a pretty good idea of how long I can use my batteries now before taking them too low. It is a really good idea to check batteries routinely to make sure they are up to par and if not replace them :)

I use a VV Grand and VV Woodvil all the time. Never noticed the voltage dropping. Always the same from start till I change out the batteries.

I keep mine in pairs. I check the voltage every time I before I put them in. If one is higher it goes on top.

Did have two batteries die on me at first. But I was NOT checking the voltage. Also I was not always using pairs.

Make sure you are removing them before cut off. If you don't you will cut the life of the battery.

The VV REO's are a little more problem just because of the batteries. But they perform well if you take the time needed to insure your batteries are treated right.
