Hey all,

If u guys can see the attachment, I have successfully made my first "torch lite mod"
With my old ego connector & I soldered on a red led light to as my power indicator.
Its working fine without any short circuts but I can't seem to figure out why it doesn't fire as its supposed to (weak vapor + weak throat hit).....
Its currently running on 3 x 1.2V 1100mah rechargeable AAA batteries, so that would give me around 3.6V of power rite?
Do I need to increase more votage? Or I got my calculations all wrong?or should I lessen the loops of my heating coil in my tanks?
Thanks a heap guys!!

Thanks Renzuli,
I've done the recoil thing (4 super small nichrome + cotton wick) & it burns nicely..
But then again not so warm vapor & a bit weak throat hit..I want to go ape .... on cranking up the voltage..
Is there any limits on how far should i go?I don't wanna end up with a blown face hehe..
I use several VV/VW devices , and typically run my devices at 9 or 10 watts . I belive that's around 5 volts . So maybe not in your flashlight mod , but in , say a Vamo , you might get your voltage/wattage up there a bit . But the best thing to do , is start with a lower setting ( voltage or wattage , and try it . Then keep turning it up and trying it , until you get to where you like the taste , and vapor . It might only be 4 volts , or 5 , or even 6 . It really depends on what you like . Good Luck

Thanks buddy,
I would say my prefered voltage should be just above 4V..but I'd have to do the recoil thing into 5 loops this time..with 4 loops I find that my tank & connection head tend to get hot..and the flavor won't taste too great..I've ordered a couple of CR2s each comes with a hefty 3.7V but lower 800mah..maybe I'll learn how to hook my circuit up with resistance dial..that way I can control the voltage just like my old ego twist..
Happy vaping buddy..
