The title pretty much says it. I really want a voltage meter like the one from madvapes/Ebay but a lot smaller. I know that one is already small and since it not only has the volt meter circuit onboard but is also powered by the circuit its testing its hard to make it much smaller. After adding the boost chip and caps, the digital pot and switches, and the batt and charging circuit, my mods are already 1.25" x 1.25" x 4.25" without any type of display. I would really like to add an led gas guage and a volt/watt display to really finish the mod off but can't either find a small enough meter pre built or a circuit diagram to make one with the small two digit led displays I see around. While I did find a couple different gas gauge chips from ti, the completed circuits are a little too big to cram into the already overstuffed case. Any ideas, links, diagrams would be great and as always thank you all for taking the time to read/reply to this.

Yeah I looked for a smaller one a lot..the only thing I found smaller was buying the LED screens and setting up the circuit board to run it and that's a PIA. There might be a smaller tester but the ones I saw only had an alarm and the board was bigger..they probably don't make smaller because there is no real use for it. You might be able to have them custom made but that would cost $$$...

Edit: Have you actually seen the tester that MadVapes/eBay sells..it's about 25 x 23 x 10 mm that's pretty small..I mean get a tape measure out that's 2.5 x 2.3 x 1cm if you got smaller it would be hard to solder it to anything..I think smaller would have to be something integrated into the regulator board. You can cut the pins off shorter or bend them over also on that meter...

Yeah that's what I've been using, the madvapes ones I mean. I desolder the pins and grind off the excess board to fit it in one 18650 slot with the boost chip and supporting hardware , and a batt in the other one. I just need as much space as possible for the new cases I'm trying. They have a soldered in either 18650 or 26650 and a charger below it with a micro USB. The case is the diameter of a 26650 and the boost chip and three little round tactile switches barely fit above it. I even had to grind down the Atty connecter to get it to sit flush, so a meter was out of the question in the one I'm vaping now. My current project I ripped off the arm from the Darwin, both as the on/off switch and to reduce the overall height but I really miss the display from my previous designs. Especially since the pot I'm using has like twenty button clicks between 4.8 and 5 volts then only 2 per .1 until 5.8 them one and so on up to something high as .... like 15 volts so the meter is a lot nicer then just going up till the carto burns then dropping it down a couple clicks.
