Are you actually interested in the mod or the atty that came with it.? Im seeing microUSB2. Of course it’s gonna be gone. If it’s the mod what about it appealed to you?
Yes very interested in the mod the design is honestly my favorite of any mod I've had the form factor in my hands the screen was awsome just all around my favorite I've been looking for one for years now it's been making me go to great lengths it's very interesting and making me realize alot about vapes from years gone by it is hard to find ANYTHING on them especially a vape that came out in 2017

So hand feel. Gonna be hard to replicate.
Was it size? The thing was exceptionally square and hard edged. with very 80’s/90’s squared off styling. Was it single or dual battery? 18650 or 21700? All I saw were pics of it. Have you tried just going to a vape shop and holding their various products in your hands? Micro USB2 was NOT known for reliability. It had a severe insertion count problem. Bad enough that I put adaptors in all my microUSB2 devices and leave them there to reduce insertion count. Finding old new stock is probably a requirement, and there may not be any.

Unless you find someone that has one that's "still in the box" and never used, it's unlikely that you're going to find one. Designs are replaced quickly in the e-cig world and something that first came out 8 years ago is going to be a virtual strike out as far as finding one in good condition.

Your only recourse would be to contact Voopoo directly and see if they have one sitting on the back shelf somewhere. They might be willing to sell it to you, provided you can convince them to even look for one.

Hello,

I’m happy to see that there are still people out there who love the classics! The Alpha Zip was my very first dual battery mod and it was a very reliable and robust construction close to my heart, with beautiful jewellery-level craftsmanship you will never find anymore in this disposable, cheap and mass-producing world we live in nowadays..I recently brought mine back to life :) It has some scratches on the surface but still looks awesome and works perfectly - it out blasts any newer DRAG in my view. You can nowhere find the coils anymore for the MAAT 1 tank it was originally released with, however I could source the black TPP-X pod from Spain, which gave a modern look to it in my view. I also have a stock of 15 packs of coils for it. While trying it yesterday for a nostalgic evening, I had to realise though that I cannot DL anymore, so it went back into my vape cabinet, for worse days..

I’m in the Netherlands but willing to sell/ship it to someone who is so passionate about the device ;) PM me if you are interested. Otherwise, I found you can pre-order it at Sourcemore, here is the link: VOOPOO ALPHA Zip Mini Kit 4400mAh & 120W TC Box Mod with 4ml Maat Sub Ohm Tank

I remember when that device came out. Wanted one but never pulled the trigger. Looked like a Nintendo or an Atari. Super unique.

Just reached for my old VooPoo Drag in solidarity. Had to dig it out. Been years since I’ve laid eyes on it. Looks like I left batteries in it and they expanded, leaked. Door stuck shut. What a shame.

Moment of silence for my dead mod. She was a good one. She didn’t deserve to go out like that.

Anyway I think your best bet may be the Drag 4 or Drag 5. Probably what’s most similar in terms of build - if their quality hasn’t changed over the years. I know it will never be the same as your fav, but… Looks like voopoo has its own storefront and you can order from them directly.

Good luck.

Holy crap! Sitting here at work doing nothing (I work at home and they have us on this new project and the brass have their thumbs up their butts figuring out how to make it work efficiently so I’m really just sitting and vaping and browsing the forums).

Anyway I was bored so I grabbed a screwdriver and pried off the door and the screen came back to life. It wasn’t the batteries - corroded for some other reason. Probably some old juice leaked over it.

But A - she lives!!!

And B - these old voopoo devices were built like tanks.

And C - apparently the VTC4s were built to last too

Very cool! I have to unstick the fire button and clean this thing up but I’m sure this thing is still kicking.

Good to hear she’s back to life! Indeed, it’s with everything like this, there was good quality materials used back in the days! They were pricey but will outlast us for sure :) Mine was $80 back then (got it for $50 on sale), but you can never compare them to the cheap pods selling for $10 everywhere.. I was just using an ARGUS for a few weeks and it doesn’t pull anymore, or the VRIZZ that broke just on the next day after the 6 months warranty ended :) We proudly used one single device throughout, now we’ve got a device for every separate flavor or mood or outfit..it has lost its magic!
