I received the "Lake Blue" color version of the ARGUS PRO 2 for this test, the green color shades really resemble the shadows of trees reflected in the blue water in a mountain lake. This All-In-one kit features a sturdy zinc alloy frame construction, there is a soft black insert on both sides with non-slip features, the leatherette finishes are bound with elegant exposed stitching. The design without visible screws, exudes an elaborate and refined look, while offering a comfortable grip. The only graphic decorations concern the writing "Gene TT" on one side and the writing "VOOPOO" on the opposite side.
► VOOPOO ARGUS PRO 2; Front/Back View:
On the back, the large ARGUS PRO 2 wording is hot-stamped onto the leather. The aesthetic impact is aggressive, the handle is comfortable and enveloping thanks to the protruding design of the lower base and the upper base. The 0.96" TFT screen provides clear and complete information by displaying real-time usage status, including battery level, set power, resistance, voltage, puffs and vaping time. On the front there are also: the solid hook in metal integrated into the body for the lanyard, the Fire button which is slightly protruding and free of inaccuracies, the aforementioned Dynamic Switch button, the "+ and -" adjustment buttons and the USB-C fast charging socket which is hidden and protected by a silicone cap with "DUST PROOF" protection characteristics.
► VOOPOO ARGUS PRO 2; Operational Guide:
To turn the device on/off, 5 clicks on the Fire button. To lock/unlock the device, move the toggle switch up or down. To access the menu, press the "+ and -" keys simultaneously, then use the "+" or "-" key to select the desired setting or parameters to modify and press the Fire key to confirm your choice.

By selecting the "Mode" option in the menu you can access the secondary screen which concerns 3 different vaping modes; SMART, RBA, TURBO.
• SMART: Distinguished by its yellow background color, the chipset automatically detects the resistance and directly sets the power in the recommended use range, avoiding errors and damage to the coil.
• RBA: Distinguished by its light blue background color, it allows the user to set the power manually.
• TURBO: Distinguished by its red background color. DRAG S2 and DRAG On the other hand, ARGUS PRO 2 with the unique TURBO mode, offers a more professional and fiery vaping experience. VOOPOO claims that the ARGUS PRO 2's TURBO mode delivers a notable 25% increase in vapor volume in one second, offering an instantly explosive vaping experience. The built-in 3000mAh battery ensures longer lasting life with selected high wattages, allowing users to indulge in the best DTL vaping experience.
• Software Update: When updates are available, consumers have access to update the latest version of the software on the official VOOPOO website (
www.voopoo.com), it requires the specific USB Type-C cable that is included with the product. The side of the Type-C cable marked "▲" should face down. Keep your device fully charged to perform the operation.
► VOOPOO ARGUS PRO 2; Compartment/Pod:
The compartment/pod features two gold/plated pins and a metal ring that acts as a magnetic support base for the cartridge. Furthermore, the integrated design of the hook for attaching a possible lanyard is clearly visible on the side of the mod (see image below).
► VOOPOO ARGUS PRO 2; PnP X Cartridge:
The cartridge has a capacity of 5ml (2ml TPD) and refilling takes place laterally by lifting the classic silicone rubber. The shape of the Drip Tip (fixed type) is rather wide for deep aspirations. The cartridge is magnetically attached to the device, which simplifies installation and removal. All PnP X platform coils are designed for bottom-up directional insertion into the PnP
► Top adjustable airflow:
The two upper airways of the pod are opposed and are designed to be partitioned for RDL use or to be opened wide for DTL use, the graduated line helps to precisely regulate the air flow according to your needs. Furthermore, the superior airflow system completely eliminates the possibility of leaks, the air pressure inside is balanced and offers a satisfying experience. Furthermore, ARGUS PRO 2 Mod is also compatible with PnP X MTL cartridge.
► VOOPOO ARGUS PRO 2; Vaping Test & Final Conclusions:
The new line of PnP X coils is made up of different resistors for a power between 20 and 100 W+. At the moment this line is compatible with DRAG S2, DRAG X2, ARGUS PRO 2 cartridges, and is not compatible with PnP platform cartridges. VooPoo has specifically created PnP X coils with fourth generation atomization technology to remain at the top of performance in terms of flavor, but also in search of maximum durability. The specific thermostable cotton is carefully distributed in the spacing and thickness of the fibers over the PnP According to VooPoo, the result obtained is sensational; up to 4 times higher than other similar coils, these new resistors would be able to support the use of 100ml of e-liquid or accompany you with a pack of 5 coils for an entire season (90 days), enormously reducing the frequency and replacement costs. Furthermore, the VOOPOO PnP X coil can be used with various e-liquids in the PG:VG ratio of 70:30 or 50:50.
• Coil PnP X 0.3Ω (32-40W):
With the Smart function activated the Gene TT chip automatically selects the optimal power of 35W for this coil, of course you can lower the power or raise it up to a suggested limit of 40W. The extraordinary reactivity of the mesh allows for satisfactory use even with very low selected powers, however the recommended 35W really seems to be perfect for the best balance between performance, flavor and life of the large 3,000mAh battery. Vaporization is always smooth and spitting-free. Even by restricting the airflow, the heat generated remains low and you won't get any discomfort on your lips.
• Coil PnP X 0.15Ω (60-80W):
With the Smart function activated, the Gene TT chip automatically selects the optimal power of 65W for this coil, of course you can lower the power or raise it up to the maximum limit of 80W. The extraordinary reactivity of the mesh allows for satisfactory use even with significantly lower selected powers, however the recommended 65W seems to be truly perfect for the best balance between performance and battery life. DTL shooters can open the airflow completely for really deep, airy draws accompanied by big clouds of vapor, but even by closing the airflow slightly they will still get a smooth, clean draw without spitting. The flavor is really robust and concentrated compared to other types of coils I normally use. The heat generated by the PnP X tank is never excessive.
VOOPOO ARGUS PRO 2 further improves the classic leather and metal design by combining perfect ergonomic shapes, style and quality with pleasant to the touch materials, all this offering the user a more comfortable vaping experience. ARGUS PRO 2 reaches a maximum power of 80W with a new clear and bright user interface, managed by the new Gene.TT 2.0 chip, which intelligently processes the best power and offers 3 modes: Smart, RBA and TURBO. The internal 3,000 mAh battery allows for long life. Gene TT administers a balanced and stable discharge curve, and even with very low battery charge levels I did not notice any drops in power. The new PnP trade can fully meet user demands for stable, always consistent and rich taste.
