I hope the Voopoo manager doesn't mind me starting this discussion as I believe it's an interesting one.
it's 21st Century with open markets and it's very important for an international company to look for the proper branding and marketing.
It's not easy to create a trustworthy Brand name and even more difficult to maintain it on different markets. But sometimes the problem might be not in your products or prices but in your product or brand name.
There is this well known example of the Chevrolet Nova model which was selling pretty bad on Spanish speaking markets because it's name translates as "doesn't go" in Spanish.
VooPoo have a slightly worse problem IMHO because the Brand name itself for English speakers is pretty bad sounding.
Some companies modify their brand/model names depending on the markets when it's worth it.
I personally like the new products you introduce to the market for example the Vinci series pods but I didn't buy any of them because of the mentioned problem.
So what do you think guys on this topic?
