If this is in the wrong section, I apologize. Does anybody have a VooPoo Caliber? If so, what are your thoughts? I just ordered one for a backup to my backup smok Pen 22. Seems I have a problem with shiny new things already...that didn't take long. Pickings are slim for a pen style mod.

Also, I am very new at this and the numbers on the coils mean nothing to me. So, I am guessing at my coils. Sorry for the ignorance. Anybody feel up to explaining these? Any help is much appreciated!

Numbers on coils. Ohms is a unit of measure for resistance, how much electricity flows through the coil is determined by the resistance of said coil. Watts is a unit of measure for power, how much power the batteries supply to said coil. Google Ohms law in regards to how it applies to vaping. For vape pens, most use coils in the resistance range of 1.0 and higher and the pen's battery supplies fairly low wattage to the coil. When you apply wattage to the coil which has some form of wicking material in contact with and the wicking is soaked with eliquid, the coil heats up and vaporizes the liquid while you draw on the tip. The airflow across the coil while its heating up keeps it from over heating. With pens, the resistance of the coils is really nothing to overly concern yourself with as most are supplying a fixed wattage from the battery, meaning the wattage is usually not manually adjustable. And for beginners, the less you have to worry about the easier it will be to stop smoking. Just vape. Again, go Google Ohms law and learn the relationship between resistance, watts and volts. If you ever decide to move away from pen type vapes, this knowledge will be invaluable. Though, who knows what's gonna be available after the September 9 PMTA deadline.

Thanks for the info! I will Google Ohms law. Not looking forward to September 10th!!
