Hello Guys!

Welcome to my site, today I would like to introduce you the voopoo vinci S vape kit.

I am thankful to VOOPOO for sending me this device for the purpose of this review.

The VOOPOO Vinci S is available at their webshop in pre-sales currently for 18.90$

The Vinci S is Voopoo’s latest release: a power beast hidden under a stylish and minimalist design with simplistic operation. The device boasts industry leading characteristics: ample 4.5ml e-liquid capacity, 40W of max power and a 2000 mAh ultra endurance built-in lithium battery; these all packed into an eye-catching compact pod-system. The Vinic S perfectly combines portability with long-lasting power!

Color and design:

I received the device in Gold Gradient and there are 8 stylish colors available to choose from (Black, Blue Gradient, Gold Gradient, Green Gradient, Grey, Neon, Pink, Silver). The Vinci S is elegant to the very detail. The front and the back have a matte finish that prevents fingerprints, in contrast the two sides and a minimalistic top line received a shiny touch. This craftmanship provides a jewellery like appeal to the device. Just a discrete Voopoo logo at the front and a small VINCI branding is engraved at the back. The front received a micro-engraved Luminous Palette design element with a stylish RGB line that flows in multicolor when a draw is taken and at the end of the lightshow the battery level is indicated: Green (100-60%), blue (60-30%) and red (30-0%). The device automatically sets the best wattage for the attached cartridge and it has an ultra responsive auto-draw sensor. The device is always on. Always in style!

Battery performance:

The device’s main strength is its massive 2000 mAh built in lithium battery that delivers effortlessly 3 days of power under heavy use with the 0.6Ω cartridge, with the 0.8 Ω this will extend to 4-5 days of pleasure, free of any maintenance.

The USB-C port is located at the side; hence the device can be charged in a vertical position and due to its sleek base, it stands firmly upside. The RGB LED will be flashing while charging, full charge is indicated with a continues green light. The device supports 1A charging, hence the process will take slightly longer, a bit over 1 hour, however you can vape on it while charging.

Size and weight:

106.2*30.2*21.3mm (pod included). Made of aluminium alloy and weighs only 69 grams.

The Vinci S is just slightly thicker than the average pod-system, however it claims almost doubled battery and e-liquid capacity in exchange. Due to its compact size, the rounded form and lightweight it feels like holding a Robolo cigar between your fingers. I only had a hand-wrapped cigarillo for the shooting.

Size and capacity wise the closest device I can compare it with is the Vaporesso XR Max, however their price tag shows a huge difference.

Pod / cartridge:

The Vinci S starter kit comes with one disposable 0.8Ω Vinci S cartridge that delivers between 12-16W of power and it is cross-compatible with a high variety of cartridges (Vinci S, Vinci E, Argus E40 and Vinci PNP X replaceable coil platform). The ICOSM Code V 2.0 system, that is first introduced with the Vinci series cartridges, provides leak free 100ml endurance, that I can certainly confirm. The standard 0.8Ω cartridge is the perfect selection for a genuine MTL vape with high nicotine content e-liquids and as such the experience is best comparable to that of disposable vapes. Once you got the feel and want to experiment with lower strength traditional e-liquids at higher wattage ranges, the 0.6Ω would be your better option, as it fires between 18-23W. I tested both cartridges; since I am more into RDL vaping the 0.6Ω was my favourite and I still use it in my daily rotation after two weeks of heavy testing. I filled it with Halo’s new Arctic Melon concentrate mixed at 8mg and it provides me a flavorful delight with a powerful throat hit and beautiful dense vapors. After this step you can even more deepen into the world of open vaping systems by purchasing the 5ml VINCI PNP X empty cartridge with replaceable coils to your preference. The whole palette of PNP X coils is compatible with the VINCI S between 0.3-1.0Ω resistance. I would love to try the Vinci S with the 0.45Ω PnP X coil. At this point you will want to consider upgrading to the Vinci E120 where the sub-ohm world will open for you, while still using the same cartridges!

I would like to highlight that the cartridge attaches with 4 strong magnets and holds very tightly in its position - it connects so well that you can hold the device firmly by the cartridge, it will never disconnect or wiggle around.

Cartridge compatibility:
  • Vinci S 0.6Ω/0.8Ω Pod Cartridge
  • Vinci E 0.3/0.6/0.8Ω Pod Cartridge
  • Argus E40 0.3/0.45/0.6Ω Pod Cartridge
  • Vinci PnP X Empty cartridge DTL/MTL with
  • PnP X coils in the range of: 0.3/0.45/0.6/0.8/1.0Ω

Final verdict:

The Vinci S is a true gateway towards the open vaping systems and provides you much of flexibility to experiment between the various vaping styles (MTL/RDL/DTL) without any compromises with battery performance, power delivery and e-liquid capacity. Voopoo made this all available to you for a reasonable budget in a stylish and eye-catching design!

I would wish there would be a fire button and perhaps a power boost function, similarly as what the SMOK NOVO ECO has.

Hope you liked my review; would you have any advices or questions don’t hesitate to connect with me.

Happy vaping folks!
