Hello, today we are going to take a look at the VMate E2 Pod Kit sent to me by VooPoo. I will examine in this Test each of the features that distinguish this item. I hope that at the end of this reading you will have understood this product, and therefore decide whether to invest in it or not. As always, my opinions are free and based on my personal experience.

The VMATE E2 package stands out for its attractive design and attention to detail. The front features the brand, the name of the device and a "3X Upgrade" icon relating to the renewed specifications of the cartridge. We also find a beautiful image of the device with the same color present inside the package. On the back of the box, the user can find all the necessary information, such as the packing list, the warnings for use and the contacts of the manufacturing company, Shenzhen Woody Vapes Technology Co., LTD. The sides of the box are equally informative, with icons describing the main features of the device, QR Code for immediate support, barcodes, Scratch&Check to verify the authenticity of the product, and an indication of the color of the model inside the package. This approach to packaging not only protects the device, but also provides a complete and satisfying user experience from the first glance.

► VOOPOO VMate E2; Introduction:
VMATE E2 reaches 30W of maximum power and works with a large 1500mAh battery that guarantees a long autonomy, you can view the battery level through a small display, and also with a colored LED notification. The new kit by Voopoo is quite compact and easy to handle with good tactile feedback derived from the use of "double-sided leather". The magnetic cap guarantees important hygienic qualities. The improved top filling cartridges allow filling without removing the pod from the device, the volume of 3ml is adequate for daily use without frequent refills. Furthermore, VMATE E2 is compatible with all VMATE top filling cartridges, and with all classic VMATE cartridges with side filling. As you can see from the table below, the new VOOPOO Vmate E2 Pod kit offers top features in the wide range of VMATE devices available.

► VOOPOO VMate E2; 1,500mAh Battery:
VMATE E2 as I anticipated incorporates a large 1,500mAh battery. This battery compared to the previous 900mAh VMATE Infinity Edition has undergone a 67% increase to the advantage of a lower charging frequency with greater autonomy. The 5V / 2A type C charging port is located on the bottom and allows you to charge the battery in a short time of about 40 minutes. The generously sized battery allows you to reach 30W of maximum power (with the 0.4Ω cartridge inserted). Furthermore, the large battery not only allows you to face the day without any anxiety about charging, but has also proven to be well balanced in the discharge phase, guaranteeing the user a stable power delivery until the last puff.

► VOOPOO VMate E2; How it is made:
I received the "Lavender Purple" color version from VOOPOO for this test. The side of the VMATE E2 is equipped with a monochrome display, integrated with a color light bar that together transmit the following safety information and current battery charge level to the user;
• Power on; The display shows the current charge percentage and the LED shows a flow of colored lights
• Pod Detected; The display shows the current charge percentage and the LED shows a flow of green lights
• Pod Not Detected; The display shows "E1" and the LED shows a flow of red lights
• Short circuit; The display shows "E2" and the LED flashes twice in red
• Prolonged Vaping; The display shows "E2" and the LED flashes six times in red
• Overheating protection; The display shows "E4" and the LED turns red for 5s.
• Low power; The display flashes and the LED flashes red ten times
• Charging; The display flashes and the LED shows a stream of green lights
• Charging Complete; The display shows the charge level and the LED shows green

The E2's zinc alloy frame is covered with a layer of "double-sided skin" (as VOOPOO calls it), this coating is undoubtedly valuable and gives excellent feedback with the fingers, I must say that my sample has a slight scratch on the coating that went unnoticed by VOOPOO's quality control, however I think this is an isolated case and that the coating is of excellent quality and can guarantee good future protection from scratches and nicks. The side of the Mod features the writing "VOOPOO" on one side, while on the other side above the writing "VMATE E2" there is the airflow, which is easily adjustable via a sliding pin, this allows for a personalized extraction that goes from very narrow MTL to moderately wide RDL, the adaptive power is managed by the chipset that reads the inserted cartridge, so all that remains is to adjust the airflow to your liking.

The Pod compartment of the VMATE E2 houses the two gold-plated contact pins for better electrical conductivity and there is a sensor for automatic activation of the shot. The 3rd generation VMATE cartridge fits into the MOD with a light pressure and mechanically by interference, the audible click warns you of the successful connection and secures the cartridge firmly to the Mod. In the image below you can also see the VMATE E2 anti-dust cap, this hygienic cap is always a welcome accessory in vaping devices and in this case it is well made, in fact it is placed magnetically on the cartridge in a solid and simple way, it also guarantees the following interesting properties:

· Anti-dust
· Anti-light
· Anti-volatile
· Anti-oxidation
· Anti-bacterial

In the VMATE E2 package there are the VMATE "3X UPDATES" cartridges; 0.7Ω and 0.4Ω. The cartridge uses a rather aerodynamic and comfortable design to hold between the lips, the cartridge is added to silver ions and this would make it 99% antibacterial. The transparency of the material allows good visibility on the internal e-liquid level. In addition, according to VOOPOO, the cartridge uses the principle of the Fresnel lens of light reflection that reduces the deterioration of the e-liquid, while the ICOSM FLAVOR INTERPRETATION CODE, it perfectly integrates into a leak-proof design, adopting antibacterial materials and offering excellent atomization capabilities for the best flavor experience. The refill (3ml) is easily done by lifting the silicone rubber and without the need to remove the cartridge from the device. The large diameter filling port allows the use of e-liquid bottles even with a rather large diffuser.

The two VMATE "3X UPDATES" cartridges are added to the existing VMATE cartridges and this creates a platform of cartridges compatible with all VMATE devices for a wide choice of MTL and RDL. As the animated image below shows, the 0.4Ω cartridge will only be able to reach the maximum power of 30W when paired with VMATE E2, VMATE i2, VMATE PRO POWER EDITION, and VMATE MAX.

Building on the iconic design of VMATE E, the latest VMATE E2 offers even more fabulous elegance with an improved double-sided skin, the double-sided skin design is more resistant to scratches and abrasions than the single-sided skin of the first generation. This ensures that the device maintains its pristine condition for a long time even with daily use. Additionally, the hygienic cap offers multiple layers of protection, including dustproof, lightproof, birdproof, antioxidant and antibacterial properties, keeping the e-liquid in optimal condition. The 1,500mAh battery offers long-lasting autonomy and consistent performance, making this kit ideal for users who need reliable and long-lasting power. The easy-to-read colorful LED and battery percentage indicator provide real-time information, ensuring users are always aware of the remaining battery life, the 2A quick charge allows you to charge from 0% to 100% in a lightning-fast time of about 40 minutes. The top-fill cartridge named VMATE "3X", refers to three significant improvements: improved taste, improved anti-leakage, improved durability. The VMATE 3X Pod is supposed to provide 30 days of inactivity without leakage, offering peace of mind and convenience, the life of these cartridges is estimated by VOOPOO to consume about 90ml of e-liquid. The power range is managed by the chipset automatically in a range of 5 to 30W with a stable output from the first to the last puffs. The automatic puff is sensitive and quick in activation and with any degree of opening of the AFC. The continuous cycle air control is finely adjustable even in a narrow way and adapts perfectly to the power and the field of use (MTL / RDL) of each VMATE cartridge that you will insert in the Mod. The vapor emission with the 0.7Ω cartridge is remarkable, the vapor is hot enough for an aggressive MTL extraction, the Puff is fluid and regular even by restricting the airflow. With the 0.4Ω cartridge inserted, the adaptive chipset is able to deliver about 30W of power (battery charged) and the AFC cursor control in collaboration with the GENE Chip regulates all the parameters to obtain a perfect vape! With the slightly closed cursor of the AFC you get a Puff loaded with Hit, rich in flavor, and with rather hot vapor. Differently and by sliding the AFC cursor to increase the airflow, you get an open, fluid Puff, with clouds of interesting dimensions and without flavor dispersion. The user is well supported by the adaptive power that is always perfectly controlled by the Chipset. During the period of use during the test, not even the slightest trace of condensation was formed. In conclusion, VMATE E2 is finely decorated, compact and ergonomic, and is also safe because it implements all the main safety functions, combining high performance, versatility, hygiene and ease of use. For me, this new VMATE E2 is absolutely to be placed among the best entry-level Pod-Mods with disposable cartridges currently available (soon) on the market.
