Hi Again:rolleyes:
Just Purchased The VP1 From Vaprilife Guys And Hope I Made A Good Pick. I Got The 510 Adapter To Go With It So That Means I Can Use 801 & 510 For Back Up. Anyone Else Out There Have This Set Up, I'd Like To Know How You Like It. I Bought It Mostly For The Upgrade On Battery Consept AAA Safe Bat, But It Says You Can Use Reg AAA's Too. Also
Anyone Ever Deal W/These Guys I Had Questions But They Never E-mail U Back.

I have a VP2/801 and like it. I skipped on the VP1 as its battery life was only slightly bigger than a stock 801 battery. The 900mah 14500 battery I use gives me about 6 hrs of vaping, so I would still have to tote around a bunch of stuff with a 14440 unit.

A normal AAA is 1.2v, so it won't work.

Hey Whiskey...

Well, I wish you asked this question before you ordered it...but you didn't. ;-)

I have a VP1, and I haven't used it for months. In all truth, the 104440 AAA batteries are only like 250mah, so they really don't last all that much longer than a 'standard' 510 battery. I was frustrated with the battery life of the unit and upgraded to the VP2 with the 14500 batteries, which is much better.

In short, you probably aren't going to be thrilled with the battery life on the VP1, and I'd suggest moving to a 14500 battery unit like the VP2 instead for 3.7 volt vaping. Sorry to be telling you this after you've already placed your order. ;-)

:mad:They Claim Reg AAA's Will Work...Just Lovely...

Yes, that really should be changed on their website. It is misleading.

I have the VP1 and VP2.

Dont use either much anymore but they are very nice devices.

Battery life isnt much on VP1 but is a nice little ecig.

You can always sell it for what you paid for it.

Thanks..Kit Comes W/2 Bats & Ordered Another. Battery Life 6 Hours You Say?

No, definitely not 6 hours per battery. I was getting about 1 and a half hours out of one before the performance drop-off annoyed me enough to swap it out.

...also, give the people at Vaprlife some time to get back to you - I think they mainly reply late in the evenings. If it hasn't shipped yet, I'm almost certain that they'll let you change it to a VP2 if they're in stock. ;-)

I would assume that the 14440 batteries use to be called xxx size at one time. At least I saw them advertised like that a long time ago. Im sure they have just forgot or whatever to take that wording off the site and use the proper term 14440 .

Hey whiskey,
If you are referring to the Janty/Joye Stick v3, it uses the same 10440 batteries that the VP1 uses. If you want longer battery life, you want to find a mod that takes at least a 14500. Hope that helps.
