VS RDNA 40 battery drain?

I just got my RDNA on monday. Love everything about it (my first dna mod) except that it seems to drain the battery even when it no in use. It's my stay at home mod so I don't touch it from about 5:30 am to 5:00pm. I can put it down with approx. 5 hours of usage time on the charge then pick it up that night and it's almost dead. Maybe 20 minutes worth of using it before I get the weak battery message. Do these thing use current even when not being used?
