So...I've had my vapor shark rdna40 for a few days. I used the wireless charger twice with no issues. Today when I used it, I got an error message in windows saying the usb device was drawing too much power (can't remember exact msg) and this was accompanied by the charger beeping every 10 seconds or so. The red light on the vs comes on and the charger light flashes green, then the vs light goes out and the charger beeps. So i plugged it into a wall wart, with the same results. The device fully charged twice using the wireless charger, but today it won't. So my question is, bad wireless card or bad base? Haven't dropped it, and I tried charging it with the shark skin on and off. I know I can change the battery out, but it sucks paying for an extra accessory and not being able to use it. Any insight?

Used a different wall wart and it worked. Funny how it worked twice though and then stopped.

Most computer USB 3.0 ports max out around 900mA (older USB 2.0 ports even less). Neither is sufficient to drive the Vaporshark wireless charger which requires 1.5A The first two times the battery was likely nearer full so the charger didn't try and pull so much current. Unless you have a very new computer with USB ports rated higher, then you should stick to using a suitably rated wal-wart for wireless charging.

You can still use non-wireless USB charging with a cord from the computer as that charges at around 800mA.
