I've been meaning to throw up a review here since I got these - I put one in VS's forum and then promptly forgot :D
FYI I put my PV and voltages in my sigline now.

These are ALL PG btw

Cafe Sumatra 12mg

This is a coffee flavor that differs from normal black coffee roasted taste. Its not acidic, its slightly sweet but not sugary, there is a sort of spicy tone to it that I can't really describe; it has almost 'woody' or 'peaty' notes to it.
Its actually not unlike the smell of whisky (if youve ever smelled a good whisky - not the blended crap but a proper Scotch - thats what it reminds me of). I should point out though that the taste differs slightly from the smell - the taste is less peaty and woody and more robust and coffee ish but it still easy to pick this one out from other coffee flavors. Its like a gourmet blend you;d get ina coffee shop - if you've ever had turkish coffee, which almost syrupy, (when made properly its not bitter either) then thats what it reminds me of most strongly. Its a very different kind of coffee but in a good way! I find this a nice almost dessert-like coffee vape. Also the more you have of this the more you like it - it grew on me very fast. This one does tend to linger in the atty Ive found, (and it doesn't play at all well with fruit flavors) so it has its own 'coffees only' atty. Recommended.

VS vapor source their flavors from India, not China, so this is not Dekang or Dekang based and you can tell the difference in all their liquids. All the ones I've tried have a slightly spicy feel to them that is very 'India' - I've been to India so its quite a comforting aroma! :)

VS4 -12mg

This is VS vapor's version of the popular RY4 - but again its their own slightly spicy take on the deal. There a definite tobacco base to this one, when you open it you can smell the difference (and for people put off by strong smells, don't judge it until you vape it).
This one is really hard to pin down taste wise - tobacco and sweetness but not sickly sweetness, and not a sugary sweetness, its almost a maple syrup type of sweetness - very present on the inhale and less so on the exhale.
The first time I tried it, I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy it - I'm used to the Dekang type flavors, which have a slightly bitter undertaste and this is a warmer toned vape altogether. However after a few vapes my tatsebuds decided I did in fact really like this one. I find it goes very well with EcoPure Toffee as well - makes it extra sweet for times I want it more dessert like. Also recommended.

Spiced Rum

This one was the only disapointing one in the bunch - and Eric of VSVpaor has since taken it off his list as he wasn't happy with the taste of it either. At least he seems concerned over quality control, and his reputation, which I liked :)
Its a shame because I was really looking forward to this one - it sounded great - warm spices and rum - but the flavor of the version I got was very weak indeed; not enough rum by far.
Once they get this one sorted out it ought to be very good - I just can't give a balanced review right now as mine was so weak as to be unreviewable in a fair way. Its fine if I get something I dont LIKE but I have a feeling I would have liked this if the manufacturer (In India) had got it right. Heres hoping they fix it.

Now for the bottles - as some people like that bit of info lol
These are heavy dark glass bottles, with super childproof caps, very hard to get off in fact for people like me with no motor skills :)
The only thing I don't like about these bottles is the dripper tip tops, which are tube-like, recessed, and really hard to direct drip with - but its easy enough to decant liquid or use a straw as a dripping 'mod' so I'm not going to take off marks for that as its obvious their primary concern here was safe storage.

All in all I was very happy with my purcahses from VaporStation and it was really nice to get liquids that have a different taste to them than so many others out there.

Hi CaptJay,

Do you like the VS4 better than the RY4? I was thinking of trying it buy not sure how close in flavor they are.

Ooh thats a hard call I have to say I like both a lot. The VS4 is very different but SIMILAR to RY4 - lol this isnt helpful at all is it? I would have to say - based on my OWN experiences - that if you like RY4 you should enjoy VS4. I really like the VS4 as its different enought to distinguish it but not SO different it puts me off. It has a maple syrup tone rather than caramel if that helps at all.

Thanks for answering. I know it is often hard to really describe a flavor but it is helpful. I tend to like the caramel taste of the RY4 but I also like maple so I will probably give it a try. I have noticed with the last few RY4's I have gotten that the caramel taste isn't as strong but they seem to have more of a tobacco or nicotine taste to them. Is the VS4 like that? Thanks again.

Id have to say taht VS4 is stronger on the tobacco and lighter on the maple but you can taste the maple (Im calling it maple syrup I dont know if its sposed to BE maple syrup lol) - in fact the more you vape it the stronger the maple gets to me - but not in an overpowering way. I really enjoy this one with a cup of coffee - like I said its similar to but different enough from an RY4 to appeal to me.
Other flavors I like (which sometimes helps if we like the same stuff) are TV butter rum, his tobacco, and many of his products, Ry4 from Cignot, DIYFLavorshack, strictlyejuice(yes I like theirs too, its jsut thinner and slightly harsher than some), all the fruits from cignot's BASIC range and mstsbakery blueberry cheesecake and bananafosters coffee.
This was my first order with Vapor Station and Id certainly order the coffee and VS4 again (probably next year when i finish all this darn juice, omg I have so much! LOL)

Very nice reviews! :) The Cafe Sumatra is my personal favorite of all the liquids I have EVER tried and of the Vapor Station flavors I've tried (have had Creme Soda, TN (awesome!), Tampa, TX, AZ, Cherry Almond (another awesome one!), Cherry Wood and Honey). I've wanted to try the VS4 for a while now, but I think I'll try Eric's RY4 instead after reading this, because it's the caramel taste I want, not maple. So, thank you for posting these reviews!! :)

I had my brother try the VS4 about an hour ago after showing him my review and he said, and I quote, 'are you on crack? This tastes like TOFFEE and tobacco, not maple syrup' So..yeah YMMV lol

OK, now see, the toffee makes me want to get it again! I know taste is subjective...I'll probably just get it because it will make me crazy not knowing if I could have "loved" it or not. :p

Thanks for posting this CaptJay. I'm awaiting my order of VS4 and Cafe Sumatra now (hurry, hurry !). ;)
I've had the CS before, and loved it, but this will be my first order of VS4.

Vapor Station's juices don't get enough love on this forum, IMO. They really make for a nice change, don't they ?

I agree Best - I kind of lucked in to finding out about Cafe sumatra from andother poster on this part of the forum and Im so glad I did - it really is a gourmet coffee blend (my brother agreed with me about it being like the syrupy kind of turkish coffee you get in tiny cups) and one I will buy again.

My totally can't live without vape is VaporStation Rosewater. In fact that is what I'm vaping right now...while listening to W.A. Mozart.:D (the Great #40)
My husband is completely hooked on VS4....he prefers it to any RY4's he has tried. He also adores the Cherry Almond.

I prefer the Green Almond. If you love almonds or marzipan this one is a must try.

Has anyone tried the Black Cherry? Hubby really wants a straight Cherry flavor and I'm not really sure what the difference is between Cherry and Black Cherry?

I have an order on the way now with Applewood and Cherrywood as well as Tennesse...can't wait!!!

Thanks Eric for a truly fine product!!! I wouldn't even care if it had nicotine or not...it's the FLAVOR!!!! Just wonderful:rolleyes:

VS Nuport is the best menthol I've had to date. Can't do without it. I've ordered so many menthol flavors and none compare to it. This is my all day every day vape. Thanks Eric for doing what you do!

Hi Ruready,
I tried the VS Frost and love it and want to try the VS Nuport as well. Thanks for your review. Menthol flavor rocks.:)

I love it Ruready, it is sweet but not to sweet. Hope you like it too:)

I know what you mean about the $$ it is very easy to spend alot on e-liquids. VS has great prices which is a big plus.
