Hi Brandond1231, welcome to the forum.

I would say it depends. Most trustfire chargers have overcharge protection and will stop charging when the battery reaches the correct voltage.

Assuming your charger has this overcharge protection, I would say yes, it'll work and it shouldn't damage it. I would keep a close eye on it during charging though, and make sure to remove it as soon as it indicates it has reached full charge.

If you have a DMM (multimeter) then it would be a great idea to check the voltage as it comes off the charger. The damage to your battery will come from overcharging - so, so long as it's charging to 4.20 V, it should not affect the performance of your VTC4.

Some people do use the trustfire brand chargers successfully for months and months, but I would recommend you get yourself a good quality battery charger. They can be bought for as little as $10-13 for a decent one.

    No you can't
    Welcome aboard Brandond1231.

    Good question.

There's people who use them and others who won't, I myself started with one but doing some research and taken suggestions I quickly ordered a XTRA charge two years ago I put the trustfire in the draw as a backup.

With all chargers and batteries safety is the key don't leave them plugged in over night while sleeping and never when your not around also. It's a good idea to separate it from other objects just incase.

Trustfire is not the most dependable charger out there but it will do the job, check the battery voltage after each charge should be 4.1- 4.2 volt if not it's not charging the battery fully or the battery is going bad and not taken a charge.
