Just got an email from 101vape saying these are back in stock.

Are these real?

VTC5 Never wasn't, it was simply unavailable to retail purchasers. Technically it still is, as Sony has never considered the VTC line for Retail. Wholesale Suppliers feed our Market. Thank Them!

This is the only Battery I do not use an Ebay supplier for.

Remember, the VTC5 is higher mAh, the VTC4 is higher amp

For what it's worth...I am not certain that "new" VTC5's are all that the old VTC5's were.
I got a couple - it was either Illumn or RTD Vapor - both pretty danged trustworthy vendors.
And they are currently my LEAST favorite battery, and I might just retire them after just a few months. See I don't need the high amp limit - I just want plenty of room and good quality - my vaping has settled in most of the time at 0.4 to 0.6 ohms.

And I'm getting DOUBLE the run time from LG HG2's (brown) (and almost double from baby blue Samsung 25R's that are older).
Just thought I'd mention it - if 20 amps will do, maybe consider those...

I'd take an HE4 or a 25R over a VTC5 better curve all around.
VTC5 unlike the VTC4 is only a 20amp battery, there are better 20amp batteries on the market.

I think they have a typo: "Max Continuous Discharge Current: 20mA"

They are becoming available again. They might be real. The one in the photo looks real. That doesn't mean that will be the one you get.

The vtc5 always have been & still are 20a CDR cell.

The older spec sheets showing a 30a rating were never shown/posted/reproduced in their entirety.
The 30a spec was only valid when used with a specific cooling source which is clearly outlined on one of the always missing pages.
