I know this thread is a little old. I wanted to add something.. I don't know if it's just my particular vulcan or all of the did clones.. I can't understand why they go to all the trouble of engineering this thing only to have the air hole line up on the opposite side of where it's supposed to go. I know I can turn the top cap to line the hole with the wick but this makes the top cap looser instead of tightened down. My PV has fallen over a few times and each time the top cap goes flying and sometimes it messes up the exposed wick and coil.

Forget about taking it out anywhere.. with the top cap half unscrewed, it's too unstable for any use other than my recliner. I'm using cotton instead of SS mesh and the flavor and vapor are outstanding so this is why I put up with the negatives. I guess for $20 it's a good value as a recliner vape here at home. It just seems that they could have thought to put the air hole in a better place. All in all, I don't regret my purchase. It's been fun playing with it and the flavor is terrrific (with cotton IMO)

on the cheap ones people will sand the topcap down untill it screws on in the correct position. remeber that these clones are being mass produced in some massive factory where someone bored out of their minds is loading a cnc or milling machine all day.
whereas top quality ones are usually produced a bit slower where the people are aware that you wont be coming back if they dont produce a quality product for 160 bucks
