3ohm Boges are what I'm using on both my VV devices and they have been the best between 4.5 and 5.5 volts (voltage is set depending on what juice flavor I'm using). I've been through all the brands and ohms of cartos out there, these 3ohm Boges are the best performers for the 4.5 to 6v range in my opinion. I get my Boges from Crystal Clear Vaping or Good Prophets.

And yeah, something is not right, 3.2ohm combined with the 2 parallel 14500's in a vv set even at 6v should be getting you through at least 3ml before they need a charge again.

That has two 14500 bats in it, and provided you didn't buy the cheapest bats you could find, two sets of bats should last a day.
You need to understand tho' that the type of regulator in that mod uses heat to use up the voltage that is not being sent to your cartomizer. So it does lack the efficiency of a mod that uses a switching regulator.

madvapes is where i got the vv box and batteries,,they only carry the ultra-fire and trust-fire 14500 batteries
    ultra-fire is actually more expensive

just finished reading a bunch of reviews on the ultra-fire and seems they don't handle volts at the range around 5volt and higher range, without constantly going protected ,,..
just did a bunch trials to verify this happens,,5v it will start and then go protected,,turn off box and then back on,,same thing every time,it would seem the batteries are my problem

so any suggestions for a 14500 that can handle volts up 7v without constantly going protected

Anything lower than 3.2 will drain the batteries even more . If the 3.2 is draining that fast you have a big problem . Maybe your carto is shorting out ? I recomend boge SR or LR cartos at 5v+ . Its amazing . Heres a video of a LR boge 2ohm on my VV boxmod .Vaping at 6v .The best combo you can get imo . I use AW IMR 14500's . I will sometimes use trustfire flames as well and neither go into protection with the setup in the video .

ok..who carries those batteries and sr and hr carto's ??i have 10 stores bookmarked and none of them have any thing other then what i mentioned above

LR not HR . The boge LR are 2 ohm and SR are 3ohm . You should be plenty happy with the SR as thats what i use everyday . Libertyflights , CCV or Greenhouseone has the best prices . I actually just bought 200 boges straight from bogetech they are perfect in every way .

For the AW IMR batteries they are the best batteries you can get and are much safer than the Ultrafires as well . Best place to get them is here

is there such a thing as a HR carto ?? thought i had seen those mentioned here before

    trying not to limit myself..

HV(sme say HR instead) yes but not made by boge and i really dont see why anyone would need to use them . They go from like 4ohm and higher and are made for like 7v+ . They are not very powerfull i would think . At any normal voltage 4/5/6/7v a SR will be fine .A 4-5ohm at 7v would be about the same hit as a 3ohm at 4v i would think

    Not that I know of.
I use Trustfires and 3ohm Boge cartos, and have no problem. But, I have no intention of using a 3ohm carto above 5v, and have no idea why someone would want to. There is nothing to be gained.

I agree i love the difference between 5v and 6v . Nice hot and harder vape . At 6v i almost like vape it differently . I like let the hot vapor run right into the tip of my tongue and i get so much more flavor if that makes sense . lol .At 6v it really brings a different dimension of flavor off my tongue expecially with my snickerdoodle cookies . I even use LR's at 6v

well 5v @3ohms is 8.33 watts where as 5.5v @ 3ohms is 10.08 watts and its a warmer vape so I dissagree with the statement there is nothing to be gained

8watts is optimum, anything above that serves no purpose other than burning up equipment.
The only thing gained is cauterized tonsils and premature carto failure.

Extreme vaping and main stream are two very different things.

Optimum is what you like. I'm vaping a juice right now, that optimum for me is 7.1 watts.

    Sent from some hand-held thing.

I agree with that, except optimum for taste, and optimum for equipment performance are two very different things.

My VV can hit @ 8.4v on fresh bats, but that has nothing to do with where it performs the best.
