The VV Bogger Box operates on Two 18350 batteries and steps the voltage down. This allows this box to beat the 3.7V mechanicals in many configurations. The VV hardware it uses doesn't have the protections that the mainstream VV Tube Rockets have so this APV can do some pretty awesome things.

Time for some summer fun.

Stay Tuned.
In two hours it will arrive and the fun begins

Over the next week I'll be doing a detailed review.
To those who have read a tomzgreat review you know that I'll in depth, be telling the Good the Bad and the Ugly

Well my VV Bogger Box arrived
Very Pretty the top bottom and stripe are Stabilized Green Tinted Wood, looks like Marble
If you notice the Box can be Squonked at an diagonal angle. This is really handy because
it's ergonomically perfect. Fore finger on the trigger and third finger on the button.

Measurements are

10.5 Centimeters High [Add 1 Centimeter for the Drip Cup]
5 Centimeters Wide [Add .5 Centimeters for the Button]
3 Centimeters Thick

VVBBOX1.jpg

The Wiring is very neat the box shuts with precision and has two Earth Magnets to Hold lid on Solid.
VVBBOX5.jpg

When you look inside you see that it takes two 18350 Stacked Batteries. I put in a 18650 Battery and it wouldn't put out enough voltage for the Tankometer to pick up.

The Spring for the Battery is Gonzo thick. Not wimpy at all. The juice Bottle holds a whopping 8ml of juice.

The Top of the Bogger Box has a Deep Dripwell, I chose stainless Steel.
It will accommodate a Reomizer or an A7 but not a AGI or Tank. But why would you want to put
a Tank on it any way. The catch cup is approximately 1.8/9 CM wide and 1cm High. With a 510 to 510 adaptor you
can put anything you'd like on top.
VVBBOX4.JPG

At the bottom of the base is a small screw that you adjust for voltage.
To properly operate this APV I'd suggest a Multimeter or a Voltage Meter.
I lost my ECD Meter and my Mad Vapes Meter finally broke after all the heavy usage so I picked up
a Tankometer that I'm using with a 510 extender.

How does the unit perform at different Ohm Levels.

I just tried the APV with a .5 OHM AGI and it basically wouldn't operate. So this unit is not a Mechanical Destroyer, at least at .5 Ohms

Over the next week I plan to try the VV Bogger Box at Varying OHM Levels to find the sweet spot and points at which it performs best.

Well I spent the evening building a Atomizer specially for the VV Bogger Box.

My Atomizer is a reomizer with 2 layers of Eco Wool 1.5mm [Russian Synthetic] 4-5 wraps of 29 Gauge Kanthal Wire.
Edited from Previous:
Interestingly enough initially it was a 1.8 Ohm Resistance than within 16 hours it stabilized at 1.2 Ohm.

Under Load I'm vaping at 5.3v Volts and 23.4 Watts it's an amazing vape.
VVBBOX_5_3v.JPG

.
So above 1 Ohm the VV Bogger Box blows the mechanicals away.

*Tip- setting the box at it's top voltage 7V+ had inverse results. When I set it at the full 7V output it dropped to 5V than I lowered it to 5.5 on a fresh batteries and it hit 5.3V. After using the batteries a few minutes I tested it and it's stabilized at 5.2V. I tried to raise it to 5.8V and had a lower result than at 5.5V. So to get the max out of this unit you need to adjust to a Voltage that is near where you want to be.
I'm going to vape for around an hour and see if it hold the 5.2V

That looks very nice!

I wouldn't say that it's a mechanical destroyer, even if it did run .5 ohm. Some people (including myself) prefer mechanical mods for other reasons. That doesn't stop me from appreciating a gorgeous wooden squonker.

Also, a bit off topic, but what I found works wonders for me is a single strand of the same size Ekowool, with about 10 touching wraps of 28ga wire and a 1mm hole through the middle. Comes up to 1.4 ohm, hits like a .8 ohm, and the single strand still keeps up with the wicking very well.

I Can't wait to try that. But the 1.5 Ekowool is be different from the 1.0 and the 2.0 because it doesn't have a hollow center. How do you get the 1mm hole in the middle.
I also bought the 1mm but was too cheap to buy the other lengths.

The EkoWool is fascinating because I blow torched it first and it got stiff then I loosened it up and washed with water.

I thought I detected a chemical taste for the first hour or so. But now it's vaping nicely.

By the way I should mention I'm in Vaping bliss.

The 1.2 ohm RBA Atomizer at around 5V is a sweet spot.

Also it's much better than the Genesis Style Tanks because I've had no leakage whatsover.

The Genesis Style AGI is gathering cobwebs. The instant wetting of the wick by squonking action totally anihilates it. Also the AGI leaks when upsidedown or at an angle. I drilled the hole larger and it ended up sputtering liquid on my clothes.

The ergonomics of this box is incredible. I tried a Reo Grande and it had the Juice Bottle [Smaller] on the side so you had to stop vaping to squeeze the bottle. The Bogger Box has the bottle on the corner so in the middle of tremendously long vapes I squeeze the bottle. No dry hits!!

Yeah, the positioning of the squonk hole is kind of uncomfortable on a Reo, though I got used to it. I still wish it was more on the side like VMod. To me, the other positives of the Reo outweigh it though.

Maybe someday I'll get a wooden mod. They do look great. But my kids play rough, and I don't think I'd like something like that being smashed in my pocket.

Good news, Marcus is sending out testing units of the Aluminum Version within the next two weeks, a Aluminum Bogger Box is on the Horizon.!!

Now it gets interesting. I set up a Reomizer with FC-2000 Porous Ceramic Wick.

I didn't change the setting of 5.6V on my VV Bogger Box and it gave me a voltage under load
of 4.9V.
That means that this APV is pushing out 24 Watts 4.9Amps.

The porous ceramic just couldn't keep up so I lowered it to 4.5V a 20 Watt Vape.
Possibly in a day or two when the wick has broken in I'll raise it to 4.9V again.

I should mention that the VV Bottom Fed Bogger Box is staying cool, none of the electronics are heating up.

I took the RBA and put it on a K100 Mechanical with a 3.7v Sony 30 Amp Drain Battery and it vaped between 3.67v and 3.85V. Too cool for my taste.

Verdict: at 1 Ohm the VV Bogger Box is a mechanical Destroyer and a performance machine.

Next step is to build a .7 Ohm Atomizer.
